    Along with the others here, I advise you to stay away from this business and their reprehensible practices. They take a customer emergency and hold you hostage as they escalate the requirements for repair and quote highly inflated costs. After snaking a clogged drain for $325 turned into a cleanout replacement for $4k and then a new sewer pipe line for $17,000, I went to get 3 other bids, which all came in under $10k. It's hard finding a good plumbing outfit. They throw around discounts like confetti, celebrating how special they are. Do your due diligence!

    Broken Water heater this morning. Wizard Plumbing in ********* quoted $8,000. Hmmm. A water heater costs about $1000 without material overhead. That leaves $7000 for labor. ******* said it would take 1.5 hours. That equals $4,667 an hour. Thanks but no thanks. Watch out for these guys. I dont normally like to give bad reviews but this is really bad. Im in the wrong business.

    We hired Wizard to dig a trench and lay a natural gas line for a fire pit in our backyard. We paid them in full and they went ahead with the work. We trusted that they were licensed plumbers that they would do the job right. We then landscaped our backyard with hardscape / irrigation / lighting and a fire pit. It was only when we got to the point where the contractor was going to hook up the fire pit that he discovered the plumber had used galvanized pipe (which NO ONE uses any longer). He mentioned that he was not going to hook up the fire pit because galvanized rots in 3 years. We called the city and discovered that Wizard had not pulled a permit or even had the work inspected. We then reached out to Wizard and left multiple messages. They called back to say they had a permit, but it was the permit for a different plumbing company. They were continuing the lie. I contacted the city and they are demanding that Wizard submit for a permit and get an inspection. However, the damage is done. We have hardscape, irrigation, lighting and plantings tht will have to be torn up. But we also have a gas line that is going to rot starting in 3 years. We are screwed. There are no words to describe my anger. We paid good money to have work done that can't be torn out. It was done in a shoddy manner. And Wizard won't do anything about it. They just don't care. DO NOT USE WIZARD PLUMBING.
