    I have attempted to help an individual who is greatly in need of phone service get a phone for a full month and have been given the runaround. A paper application was filled out on August 4th and then an application was emailed to Stand Up Wireless on 8/17/23. I called customer service this morning and they directed me to Lifeline. Lifeline said the client was with another provider True Connect and that his service was terminated in July with Stand Up. Lifeline suggested that I contact Stand Up Wireless and ask them to do a benefit transfer for the client and gave me an application number. I called Stand Up Wireless this afternoon and they said they do not do benefit transfers, As well the customer service people have repeatedly said thery did not receive a paper application sent to their PO Box in ******** and that they did not receive a scanned application that I sent on the customer's behalf on August 17. The representative suggested I send a paper application. At this point i had to say thankS, but no thanks and the gentleman I am trying to help wil lhave no phone. Almost a month and nothing was done. Stay away from Stand Up Wireless!
