      ***** falsely charged card for textbook purchase despite making attempt to extend rental into summer semester. Something occurred where they did not see attempt to make payment on their end, and I was not charged for textbook rental. Contacted ***** and they stated they cannot refund >30 days despite just receiving credit card statement showing the charge. Dispute initiated. Poor customer service offering no attempt to please customer other than saying you can sell your books back.

      ***** makes it extremely difficult to remove payment methods, even if you are not using them. You have to go through a lengthy process with a difficult chat system just to get a payment method removed. This is a deceptive business practice that is meant to charge people who do not want to be charged or continue paying for a service they want to cancel.

      Their service is a great one, if you only wish to waste your money on help that you can't receive because their computer system will suspend you for using it on your ipad at work. You have options to have 3 devices which I chose as my PC and my IPad. Their rules are: you HAVE to use Google chrome which is fine, you can't use a vpn which is fine, you can't disconnect from wifi and reconnect or they will suspend you for 2 days only to tell you they don't know why. Listen to this. If you search for a problem in the website and you can't find it, you can Google search it and it will show up, BUT if you open that tab and you are still signed in on the other tab, BOOM suspended. If you CLICK A LINK IN THEIR OWN WEBSITE it opens a nother tab, BOOM SUSPENDED. If you have the website open in chrome, and have any other tabs open with it, suspended. They are literally trapping you! You can't even click a link in their own website or you get suspended. You can change that when you build the website but they choose to do this. If you try to get your money back, they can't do it, because their policy says they don't have too because you "violated their policy" BECAUSE I CLICKED A LINK IN THEIR WEBSITE. I use my iPad ( which is one of my two devices) at work, I use their stupid app that doesn't even have all the same answers on it, only and every time I do I get suspended for 2 whole days without answers. I have all of my texts from their employees as well as I know they all of mine.

      i would have given it a zero if possible. This company has been charging my credit card for more than one year. They have even been charging me twice a month. I have never subscribed the service. When I called the number they provided to my credit card company, i was told the number no long existed. This immediately looked suspicious. I was referred to their website and was given a number to text. After I texted them, they asked me for credit card number. I offered to tell them my name and address. They insisted asking me my credit card information and email address (of course they don't have my email because I have never gotten any bill from them through email). I called my credit card company and my credit card company had kindly agreed to investigate into this, reimburse me these charges, and label this company a fraudulent case.

      They refuse to remove your credit card from their website after you cancel and charge your card AFTER you cancel. Customer service is the WORST too! Ripping off students!

      Awful company that is only in the business to steal students money. I finished my classes and had forgotten to cancel my ***** Study subscription by under 24 hours. Today is May 22, 2022, and the subscription renewed on May 21, 2022. When I contacted them asking if they could end it immediately, they usually can, but in my case they can't because of "recent activity" using their service. The recent activity was me logging into my account to try to cancel my subscription. I didn't use any of their study tools recently. They are liars who don't want to give you back your money.

      They locked my use of my main computer behind a paywall leaving me to use the device I signed up on ONLY unless I pay more. I missed the cancellation by 1 day after 4 months of being subbed and not using it in the last 7 days but they refused a refund saying they only give certain people "courtesy" refunds and explained how due to "my use" I am not eligible for a courtesy refund.
