  Antares is a total scam, DO NOT sign up for the free 14 day trial, as there is no way to actually cancel it. Their subscription model requires that you pay ***** a month, which, in my opinion is not at all worth it for what you get. Their customer service is terrible and just recently, they created the rule that you cannot receive a refund AT ALL. I was charged for 2 months after I had thought I had cancelled the free trial. Additionally, to make it more confusing, when I had opened up the plug ins in my DAW, all of them said my license had expired, when in fact, I was still paying them. This is also not the first time I have been scammed by them. The first time I *had* actually signed up for the monthly subscription as I wanted to use their product for a few months, and then I noticed they were charging me TWICE a month - so $50/month for the past 3 months. At this point which was only a few months ago, they did oblige my request for a refund. DO NOT give your money to this company, they are scammers through and through. There are way better options out there like Isotope Nectar, and apparently a new Ableton plug in.

  I have used software by Antares since it was first developed. The version I last purchesed in 2022 has never worked properly. I have filed trouble reports at least 15 times. I have sent videos of the issues multiple times. The software crashes my computer. The software is unusable. I have gotten ************ responses asking for information which I have supplied. Now the company is not responding to my support tickets. There is no way to speak to anyone there. Basically, I wasted money and there seems to be no recourse.They should be shut down. They are ripping people off.

  They offer their products for free trial, saying you can cancel before the trial is up. But, there is NO customer service and No way to cancel. Every page sends you on an endless **** and nets nothing. They end up charging you and holding you hostage. I can't contact anyone........have tried all digital means. Very Very Very upset.

  Bought an M-audio peripheral that came with free trial of Antares auto tune. The free trial expired and I was billed for monthly subscription. I contacted them the next day to let them know that I didn't want a subscription. Company said it's in their terms and conditions and that they won't refund the month. Horrible customer experience and service! F-

  Absolutely one of the worst companies in the audio industry. Like many others, it's the subscription to the "free" trial that has brought me here. Unlike some customers, I was actually aware that the trial needed to be manually canceled via the website. But as I was working on a test project using the trial license, I pushed it until the last minute to cancel. When I went to cancel, I was directed to a page to manage licenses, where the site informed me that cancellation of the trial wasn't possible via that page, and directed me to open a support ticket. There is no link or redirect to explain where the cancellation IS actually possible from, leaving you to aimlessly wander around the site until you find it. Payments are handled by a third party and once again there is no link from the payment processor to license management, despite there being a link from the payment confirmation to "manage your orders!" Antares has become a dishonest, untrustworthy vendor that many of us in this industry have absolutely no choice but to support because their technology is an integral part of our workflows. Antares knows this and shamelessly takes advantage of it for their own personal gain. There is simply no question that the second a viable alternative is produced, professionals will shift over to it and happily abandon this company and it's abhorrent business practices. Furthermore, as they regularly increase the price of their software despite extremely few updates over the years, its coding efficiency seems to be farther and farther reduced, as the plug-ins become slower and more processing heavy with each iteration. Inefficient code and higher processing delays that once again all professionals have noticed and complained about, requiring us to devise new workarounds and purchase better equipment, just to use the software we already owned for decades, in our sessions.
