1 starCan't recommend them, in fact, avoid at all costs. I wouldn't trust them with my car. They don't take pride in their work, or have a sense of craftsmanship. Less than three months after they installed my windshield glass it cracked while parked inside my garage. When I took the car back for them to inspect it, service advisor **** Marinchak ***** my hand and said he would contact the manufacturer. When I followed up he growled at me: "glass doesn't crack itself, if you want to file a warranty claim, do it yourself." I then called MOPAR and confirmed he never attempted to file the claim. He is a liar. I then confirmed with a third-party glass professional that the crack in my windshield was a stress crack from a defective part. ********* refused to take responsibility for this or file a warranty claim with *****. I later discovered that service manager **** transmitted false information to a ***** representative. He told the representative that my windshield had been tampered with. He never even looked at the glass when I brought it in! He is a liar. You cannot trust this business to do the right thing. At the end of the day, they don't treat their customers well or take responsibility for their mistakes. Run!!!Review fromBrianna M

1 starI am extremely disappointed and appalled by the service | received at Jeep Santa Monica. A couple of weeks ago, I scheduled a service appointment after clearly stating my needs to the call-center. When I arrived, they turned me away because they didn't have what was needed, despite my prior communication.I left an honest review on Yelp about this disappointment. A few days later, I made another appointment. This time, after handing over my keys, l was chased down by ****, service advisor, while attempting to get my Uber. He aggressively refused to service my car because of the negative review I had left. While arguing with me, **** was aggressive and intimidating. Laughing while I tried to reason with him and insisting he would not help. He used his stature and perceived "power" to intimidate and scold me.When I went back to speak to the manager, ****, he initially avoided me. Once I voiced my concerns in the office, he reluctantly stepped in and reiterated ****'s stance, claiming they are privately owned and can do as they please. **** demanded I remove my review and they might reconsider servicing my car. After agreeing to service my car, He threatened that if I received a survey and gave negative feedback to "never show my face here again"Feeling verbally attacked, threatened and overwhelmed, I started crying.I had to involve my husband to pick up the car because I felt scared and uncomfortable returning alone. Only after another male, my husband, approached **** did his attitude shift. My husband demanded an apology from **** for their behavior which | received. I insisted **** apologize to me as well but of course it was insincere. He didn't stop walking while apologizing and smirked the entire time.I am disgusted by how Jeep Santa Monica's service center treated me. Their behavior towards me was unacceptable and terrifying.Review fromSam T

1 starWorst service department I have ever dealt with. They were rude and refused to fix my car. They previously did an alignment that was done wrong and they want to charge me for it again even though they haven't even looked at the car. Moreover, they refused to fix issues on my car covered by the warranty.Review fromDaniel S

1 starI complained about a warranty service where they sent my vehicle back to me without any coolant. Next time I came back I was told they wouldnt take care of me because I was blacklisted as a problem customer. **** the service manager was rude, bordering on hostile.Review fromGavin G

1 starI find myself in an unsafe and frankly unacceptable position and am hoping you will assist me before it escalates any further. The Jeep I leased in good faith has been malfunctioning and causing unsafe stoppage in moving traffic placing me and my passengers in danger. I dont know if this is part of the numerous recalls, but when I left it at Jeep Santa Monica on June 16th this was fully explained with the service manager. When I picked up the car, the same issues were still happening. I called for an explanation but **** told me to just bring the car back and he would take care of it. I brought my jeep back to service on Friday July 7 and this is where it gets baffling. ****'s attitude and customer care was nothing shy of rude, condescending, and inappropriate. He told me he would not be able to fix, look at, or give me an estimate of my car that day because it was Friday and almost the weekend. The complete indifference toward a customers circumstance and lack of customer service is unlike any I or my Jeep owning family has experienced. I asked **** why my issue was not fixed as he had the car for 16 days already and didn't know what the problem was. He replied in a very condescending tone "well do you know how to fix a jeep"? When I replied "no, that isn't my job" he said "well I don't know how to fix it either". He told me to bring it back on Monday morning which I did. Upon arrival on Monday the 10th, **** refused to service my jeep. My jeep is unsafe and dangerous to drive. My car has multiple recall notices and issues. **** never followed up with an email with a list of repairs or work that he did from my first visit. I have no idea what work was done on my car, if any. All other ************ centers in the area are booked until August which has left me in a very difficult position. Please help me resolve this matter ASAP, before an unfortunate and completely preventable situation occurs.Review fromAdam M

1 starHow do you get zero stars? Absoute Worst Jeep Dealership. I have leased cars for 30 years of my life. This is the absolute worst experience. I brought my $65k 2020 Jeep there for a oil change. It was returned with a light on about an aux battery. Brought it back in and they held it for 8 days without looking at it. When I came to pick it up, no one could give me any explanation to why it hadn't been looked at. Eventually a manager told me I wasn't a priority bc I didn't buy my Jeep there. Which i would have if they had the one I wanted. I spoke to the ** ************************* the next day. He never offered an apology or solution. He was abrupt and rude. Eventually telling me I was upset and we were going in circles. And he then told me to take my business else where and hung up on me. Yes HUNG UP ON ME! TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. My lease is up in 3 months. I will never step foot in that dealership and highly recommend that no one else does either. I have called Jeep Corporate and opened multiple cases.Review fromLily H

1 starNever go to this place and avoid it all costs. Worst customer service and **** laughed in my face and laughed at us over the phone and hung up. I was going to be without a place to stay since I was moving ********, and they over charged me last minute, knowing that I needed my car and needed to accept this cost. They told me my car was going to be done Friday, which my appointment was on a Wednesday at 8 am. They didn't actually start working on my car until Saturday at 12 pm, knowing the situation I was in. When I showed up and told ********** was going to be without a place to stay, he laughed. Thank god I got my car within that timeframe and not 2 weeks like the other reviews. I had to cancel hotels and flights, Listen to the other reviews about this place and **** (should honestly be replaced) and avoid this place at all costs and go to *** Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM instead.Review fromJames S

1 starI came here on January 7th to purchase a Jeep Gladiator Overland CPO. prior to purchasing I was told by salesmen ***** and ******* they would get back to me on price which none of them did. I called and said I am going to be there tomorrow to buy it, please have it washed and ready to pick up.******* states deposit not required. I get a call back from the sales manager shortly after saying we will sell it to the next person who walks in that door if there is no deposit and it is refundable upon pick up since I am using my own bank.We get there, we noticed the advertised tow hitch was missing, the battery for the remote is dead. We head to the managers office he begins to yell at me saying there is no tow hitch. I told him to calm down and I will show him his own ad. He then goes what's a tow hitch, "***** explain to me what a tow hitch is." ***** confirms its missing, manager then says we will put it on there and ***** tell him the remote for the key is dead and he freaks out and say WE ARE NOT PUTING A NEW BATTERY IN IT! he states the car won't lock or unlock without it.We then go back to finance and **** gets a call so we head back down to the managers office and he starts yelling at me again saying were not doing the tow hitch, we are losing money. I advised that is false advertising and I expected nothing different from the dealer since I basically had to beg them to buy the car. I tell him we drove 2.5 hours away, the car wasn't clean, the ad is misrepresented I am leaving with that car. 3 hours later we are done only to find out they ran my credit twice because they spelt my name wrong. **** never refunded my deposit. The passenger front was missing a lug nut, previous owners 2 credit cards and information was all left in the car, 2 months later we find out the dealership never transferred the warranty or CPO and we cannot buy our extended warranty they never offered us. **** has provided the run around of let me call you back and never does.Review fromeoghan g

1 starAvoid at all costs. Wouldn’t take my warranty work as it was a ‘tough job’. Lazy, rude and couldn’t give a toss about customers.
Update: brought in for oil change (no other local dealer) and now 2 days later I’ve a check engine light on. The absolute worst!
Update 2: Yep this place is still the worst. Didn’t bother doing work I brought it in for, half-ass repair on another issue despite me explaining clearly it’s a well documented issue with ‘21 Jeeps
GOING ON 2 WEEKS NOW AND NO SIGN OF GETTING MY JEEP BACK - MISSED 3 RETURN DAY ESTIMATES.
Unequivocally the worst service experience I’ve ever had.Review fromAmanda D

1 starDropped off our 2022 jeep wrangler for an oil change Wednesday 2/1/22. Receptionist relayed that we'd be able to pick up next day. It wasn't ready the next day and when we kindly called for communication on estimated pick up time, the receptionist was incredibly rude in tone. No one called us back.
The service technician would not respond to our call or text about when it would be ready.
We just needed communication so we could figure out logistics on how to get to work or get groceries.
The car has been in the shop for 7 days for a simple oil change. I finally went in today 2/7/22 and escalated the situation to the manager. Due to the fact that we called multiple times and the receptionist would cut us off mid-sentence to put us on hold for 30+ minutes.
When we finally reached the technician, Jose Gonzales, we were angry as it had been a week and asked when we could pick up the jeep. He responded "whatever" and hung up on us.
No one in that service department is able to communicate.
I watched them pull the car out of the garage where it was sitting untouched for a week. No one worked on it.
I understand that the customer is not always right, but when every review on google and BBB says the same thing about how rude the girl answering the phone is, and how incompetent the service technicians are, I think there is a bigger issue.
All you have to do is tell your customer when to expect the car or explain why it's not ready. Be transparent.
