    May 19, 2025 8:00pm This is our 3rd complaint against Sonic for soliciting. We have multiple signs marking this property as a no soliciting property. The solicitor identified themselves as a Sonic representative and it took multiple direct instructions to "leave the property" before he would leave. He, as others have said before, claimed he would add us to their no-knock list. Please request that Sonic cease and desist all communications with this residence.

    Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Repeated Unwanted Solicitation by Sonic
    To Whom It May Concern:
    I am writing to file a formal complaint against Sonic regarding their persistent solicitation practices at my residence despite clear notification that such contact is unwelcome.
    Despite having a prominently displayed "No Soliciting" sign on my front door, Sonic representatives continue to conduct door-to-door solicitation in our neighborhood, including at my residence. This repeated disregard for clearly posted notices is concerning and intrusive.
    I hereby request to be removed from ALL Sonic communication channels, including but not limited to:

    Door-to-door sales visits
    Direct mail marketing materials
    Telemarketing calls
    Email communications
    Any other forms of outreach

    I have never been a Sonic customer, nor do I intend to utilize their services in the future. My household's privacy preferences should be respected.
    I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Please advise Sonic to add my address to their "Do Not Contact" list across all departments.

    Sonic included hidden fees in our fiber plan. There are hidden tax charges and fees as part of the bundle (including services that we do not want/do not use) that were not advertised in the listing price of our plan. We were not notified until we received our bill. The taxes are over $19 and are not listed in the price of the plan. The advertised plan was close to $50, but we are being billed for $84/mo because of hidden fees. They only included the fees at checkout, which is not allowed under SB 478. They will not allow us to sign up for a plan that is internet only.

    Sonic advertises 1 gig speed fiber internet via their Fiber Fusion product. When you sign up through the process online it’s advertised at $59.99/mo with a $10 discount per month for first year. After ordering the order confirmation also confirms these details but they also say a phone line has been added with no mention of cost. The pdf order attachment also does not mention the phone and confirms the total pricing at $59.99 - $10 discount.

    Then once you finish your first month you get a bill that all of a sudden includes a phone service as well. This phone service has several fees and taxes which amount to an extra $19 aprox per month. Classic bait and switch, which is illegal. Calling in does nothing as they say they offer no other products and can’t provide internet only and can’t adjust your bill.

    Pricing is incredibly deceptive. They told me I'd be paying $49.99 a month, but then my first bill comes and I see there are $19.04 additional charges for a total of $69.03 per month in what they called "taxes". Thats more than a 38% increase over advertised price. Luckily there are competitor with cheaper prices than this, so I'll be switching, but I likely would switch either way since this is a predatory company

    We are so tired of the Sonic solicitors who are pushy, aggressive, and have come to our home 3 times in one week. First time knocking loudly, waking our napping toddler. We tried to explain that we are not interested in their service but the guy just kept talking. We asked that they not return. 2 days later returned again. Tried to ask them to leave and solicitor smirked and stated youll end up with us eventually. Third time we had to just say no thanks and close the door asking them a third time to please not come back. We just want to be left alone.

    SONIC's high speed internet team showed up on our property this morning early (yes, Sunday, yes, about 0920 am) to hook our house up to their network without a work order, without an authorization, and without a request.

    This service costs $50.00 a month. We did not request it, we informed them we did not want it, we reiterated that we had not requested it and we are the property owners, we resisted any attempts to sell us anything or to agree to any services, and we asked them to remove the wiring, their equipment, and themselves from our property.

    We reported this incident to our internet service provider and our neighbors. This crew was in our neighborhood last week on Wednesday morning (a day when many of us are either at work or traveling for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday) and were installing on several properties - presumably without the request or permission of our neighbors. They were working on my block (******* ******* *** ******) and presumably also on ***** and ****** avenues.

    We reported this incident to the ******* ***** ********** also.

    My question now is: do I need to file a police report as well?

    Good afternoon, I went into the sonic drive in located on **************** to ask to refill my water bottle before boarding a bus, I was told no,twice and than laughed at the *****, a Caucasian referenced Me as " yall" then the hispanic man charged me .$54 cents for a cup.and I threw it in the bushes when **** and another woman rubbed their hands all over the lid! Why aren't they wearing gloves? Their overstaffed and why was ***** laughing? I'd like to talk to ******. And give me back the wasted forty five cents this November ******. I'll keep updates about this irs unsanitary to touch peoples food and lids with no gloves ***** followed me into the establishment from outside. Why wasn't he inside! Thank you

    I work graveyard. My husband and I have a NO SOLICITING signage AND also DO NOT DISTURB OCCUPANTS signage clearly visible on our property, and front window of our residence.

    A Sonic internet marketing person woke me up at 11:47am, I cannot go back to sleep. I WORK GRAVEYARD. This signage on our property was completely ignored, agitated my large working canine, who also was asleep, who barked and barked, making me really angry that a selfish marketing fool would disturb someone AFTER seeing & ignoring visible signage NOT TO DISTURB my household.

    THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. It is greedy, it is rude, it is messed up. Respect the community, and residences that have this kind of signage on their property, or face trespassing charges. We also have NO TRESPASSING visibly posted on property...not everyone can walk around during the day in shorts ringing doorbells to try & sell products and services...what a lousy thing to do to people who respect boundaries, unlike Sonic internet services.

    SONIC, respect property & property owner's boundaries and signage. Stop being greedy.
