    In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting act. Caine & Weiner has violated my federally protected consumer rights to privacy and confidentiality under 15 USC ****. 15 U.S.C **** section 602 A. States I have the right to privacy.15 U.S.C **** Section 604 A Section 2: It also states a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish a account without my written instructions In accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.     Our office received an account from the creditor, ********************** with respect to this consumer in August of 2022 for recovery of unpaid auto insurance premiums. Please note the balance due is not owed to Caine & Weiner. Initial correspondence was sent to the consumer at that time. There is no record of any mail return. Our records indicate that the creditor still shows the balance as due by the consumer. We collect on Progressive's behalf. The Progressive policy was cancelled in June 2022. Creditor records indicate coverage was provided for a 2014 ***** Accord and a 2009 Chrysler Sebring on a Progressive policy ending in **** and that a payment made in May 2022 was insufficient to cover the premium balance due at the time of cancellation. Validation has been forwarded to the consumer for review. Our office has researched the consumer's dispute and found the charges to be valid. The account is currently closed as 'Disputed'. The credit bureaus will be notified to update their records accordingly. Please be advised that the creditor, Progressive, reserves the right to proceed as they deem necessary. The consumer may contact our office at ************* for additional assistance.

    I do not recognize this account. This is purely identity theft.     Our office received an assigned account from the creditor, ********************** with respect to this consumer November 2021 for recovery of unpaid auto insurance premiums. Initial correspondence was sent to the consumer at that time. There is no record of any return mail. Please note the balance due is not owed to Caine & Weiner. The Progressive policy was cancelled in September 2021. Creditor records indicate coverage was provided for a 2006 Audi A6 on a policy ending in **** and that the last payment made in July 2021 was insufficient to cover the remaining premium balance due at the time of cancellation. Progressive still indicates that the balance is due. Validation has been forwarded again to the consumer for review. The account will be closed ad 'Disputed' in our database. The credit bureaus will be contacted to remove any derogatory remarks from the consumer's report. We are unable to state how long it may take *********** to update their records. Although we will close the file as disputed, Progressive retains the right to pursue the balance any way they deem necessary. The consumer may contact or office at ************ for additional assistance.

Our records indicate that the file is question has been closed as Paid for Deletion. Our records further indicate that as of December 2022 his credit report had been corrected.     Our office received an assigned account from the creditor, ********************** with respect to this consumer October 2018 for recovery of unpaid auto insurance premiums.  Initial correspondence was sent to the consumer at that time.  There is no record of any return mail.  Please note the balance due is not owed to Caine & Weiner.   The Progressive policy was cancelled in August 2018.  Creditor records indicate coverage was provided for a 2016 ****** Maxima and a **** **** Mustang  on a policy ending in ************************************** July 2018 was insufficient to cover the remaining premium balance due at the time of cancellation.   Progressive still indicates that the balance is due.   Validation has been forwarded again to the consumer for review.  The account will be closed as 'Disputed' in our database.  The credit bureaus will be contacted to remove any derogatory remarks from the consumer's report.  We are unable to state how long it may take *********** to update their records. Although we will close the file as disputed, Progressive retains the right to pursue the balance any way they deem necessary.  The consumer may contact or office at ************ for additional assistance.

    This company is violating my consumer rights. According to FCRA 15 USC **** I have the right to privacy. Also according to 15 USC **** no financial institution is supposed to share my information to any third party. There are clear violations of my federally protected consumer rights.15 USC **** Section 604(a) Section(2) States a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish an account without my written instructions. 15 USC ****c. Our records indicate that the creditor still shows the balance as due by the consumer. The consumer never had a contract with our company, the contract was with our creditor, Progressive. We collect on Progressive's behalf. The Progressive policy was cancelled in November 2017. Creditor records indicate coverage was provided for a 2016 Dodge Charger and a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze on a Progressive policy ending in **** and that a payment made in September 2017 was insufficient to cover the premium balance due at the time of cancellation. Validation has been forwarded to the consumer for review. The credit bureaus will be notified to update their records while the balAnce is under review. Our office will gladly review any documentation provided by the consumer with respect to the policy, vehicle, payment, or coverage specifics for this account that *** indicate the creditor's records are not accurate.     This appears on my credit report and is negatively affecting it. I've looked into the company and found it's a collection agency. I've had no bills or notices arrive in any form from the original company or the debt collectors themselves.

    Our office received an account from the creditor, ********************** with respect to this consumer in April 2016. The consumer states that his son set this account up fraudulently. Our records further indicate that the consumer has reported the mishap to our creditor, Progressive. As of today January 17, 2023, the creditor has not indicated that the file is the result of fraudulent activity. The file has been placed in 'Disputed' status and the credit reports will be updated while the issue is being researched. Should findings determine the charges are not fraudulent, the credit report will be updated accordingly. The consumer may contact our office at ************ for additional assistance.

    I spoke with ****** ******** about paying a collection to delete it off my report. I paid the account in full with the stipulation that the reporting would be entirely removed. It has now been 10 months and the item is still reported. I want them to delete this reporting like they confirmed they would do.

We have reviewed the consumer's account in our ********* We do not show an active trade line reporting on this account to the credit bureaus. The request to remove from the credit report was submitted in December 2022. We currently show that our negative trade line was deleted from the associated bureaus to update their records. The consumer should contact the respective ********* if derogatory remarks are still appearing on the credit report. The consumer can contact us at XXX-XXX-XXXX if additional assistance is required.
