    I am not liable for this debt with Caine & Weiner and do not have a contract with them. They do not provide me with the orginial application like I asked.

    Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/08) */ Our office received an account from the creditor *********** Insurance with respect to this consumer in November 2020 for recovery of unpaid auto insurance premiums. Please note the balance due is not owed to ***** & Weiner. Initial correspondence was sent to the consumer at that time. We have been unable to reach the consumer by phone. We do not show receiving any correspondence directly from the consumer. Our records indicate that the creditor still shows the balance as due by the consumer. Our office will mail the consumer correspondence detailing the policy number, vehicle types and coverage dates specific to this account for review. The policy was cancelled in October 2020. Creditor records indicate coverage was provided for a 2009 Chevy Tahoe on a policy ending in **** and that a payment made in August 2020 was insufficient to cover the premium balance due at the time of cancellation of the policy. Our office will gladly review any documentation provided by the consumer with respect to the policy, vehicle, payment or coverage specifics for this account that may indicate the creditor's records are not accurate. We encourage the consumer to contact our office at ************ for additional assistance.

    I took ownership of ***** ***** *** April *******. The home has ****** solar panels installed and the previous owner had an outstanding collections balance that is being managed by ***** and Weiner. It's my understanding that the previous homeowner has paid the outstanding balance in full. However, for the past two months ***** and ****** has blocked the transfer of the ****** account to me as the new homeowner due to the previous homeowners collection amount. The collection amount has nothing to do with me and I should not be impacted. Upon contacting ***** and ****** their representatives just hang up on me.

We are unable to discuss a consumer account with a third party unless provided direct authorization to do so by the individual that owes a balance to a creditor. As a courtesy, we will contact the creditor with respect to an account in our system showing the address listed in this complaint for potential contact with the individual by the creditor. Per ******* ***** and ****** is blocking the successful transfer of ****** account to my name due to the previous homeowner collection account. ***** and ****** needs to release any associations to ***** ***** *** and communicate this to ******* Upon calling ***** and ****** at ************ their representatives are not helpful and disconnect calls. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/06/08) */ Our office handles recovery activity for certain past due ****** accounts. We do not have any control over ******** internal policies or procedures with respect to existing or future customers. As noted, as a courtesy we are contacting the creditor with respect to an account in our system showing the address listed in this complaint for potential contact with the individual by the creditor.
