  I feel very taken advantage of. I really wanted to support local business but I will not be recommending this company to anyone. They sent me pictures and sold me on these gorgeous plants that were going to be planted in my yard and when they arrived they were twigs. I was told that once they were in ground they would flourish and because of the condition they arrived in they would extend my warranty period. So I waited a few months to see if they would look any better but they do not. I have done all I can and reached out to customer service multiple times only to get the run around. No one has addressed my concerns or offered me any new plants. Instead they keep asking me how I am water them. They came to me in a bad state where they needed rehab. Oh and conveniently the man that delivered them that promised me an extension on the warranty was let go soon after my delivery. My sales person however is still working there and is not responsive. I just want to warn other people and share my experience before spending thousands of dollars with this company.

  I came to The Standard Design wanting to support a local business. What Ive experienced instead is disregard, delay, and a complete lack of communication. This is deeply frustrating and extremely disheartening. support a local business.

  They are overpriced, lie about costs and requirements, and are terrible with communication. During the sales and setup process, they were great. However, I soon realized that they lie about costs, requirements, and installations needs. After going nearly $7K over budget with add-ons that were "structurally required" (but somehow not noticed when developing the job estimate, only after the job had begun), I noticed that they added HUGE margins and mark *** without rationale. $30-50 lights were installed for $250. Connected a preexisting and new gas line to a fire pit table (literally just connecting the unit) would cost me $1500, but I had someone else do it for free in 10 minutes and I tipped that service person $100. ********* addition to the lies about costs, several install hardscaping mistakes occurred and plants began to die within weeks, and the company became really terrible and unreliable. I have waited for three months now and have been given several dates (that came and went), no shows, and white lies about why they haven't been able to prioritize fixing my job. The guy (only one guy can do anything?) was out of town for two different periods of time, a migraine by the project manager, etc. have all been used as excuses. They even told me other jobs were priority over mine, both during my installation and now when I am trying to get them to fix mistakes made during their work. They literally pushed my project out to prioritize fixing other jobs, but now that my job is the one that needs fixing they still prioritize other jobs. Awful and they should be embarrassed. I shopped around and chose Standard Design Group Nurseries as I believed the project management and customer service would be the best. I was very very wrong. Stay away and choose a better, more quality, less expensive, and more responsive company.

  Yesterday was my first time visiting The Standard Design Group Nursery. If you are looking for a full-service, knowledgeable and friendly plant ?? shop L??K NO FURTHER ??I am a VERY INEXPERIENCED plant owner. I brought in my snake plant because some of its leaves were dying and it was in need of being repotted. (Few places repot, much less give useful gardening tips to novices). The staff is wonderful. They helped me to pick out the correct size and type of pot, repotted my plant and discussed watering instructions. I would highly recommend this nursery.????Thanks again for all your help and encouraging words of advice. ????

  Great experience from start to finish. They came out to my house for a free consult and went over all the goals my wife and I had for our yard. We had a medium budget and understand that material costs have gone up a lot the last couple years. They were able to still keep the project with in our budget and even gave us 15 months no interest. It was so nice having one company do they entire process from the design to the install. Concrete work came out perfect and they even have a giant farm where we picked out the perfect olive trees. Highly recommend!

  My experience honestly was tens all around. I found both designers I talked to to be very knowledgable, reliable and professional. I even had them come back to my house a second time for a couple small questions and they were happy to. Plus I got warranties on both my large Magnolia trees for half of what another company was offering me. Thank you to the staff at The Standard Design Group for making this overwhelming project actually enjoyable. Have a great summer everyone!

  My husband and I have been looking to redo our backyard for years and finally decided on using the Standard Design Group after checking the prices of a few local companies. We're very happy with our results! Our designer helped us pick out native plants and we also added some trees for privacy from our neighbor's windows. They have their own nurseries that we ended up browsing through before the install date to choose the exact plants we wanted which was great. The crew was extremely fast and made sure every plant was where we wanted them to be. They installed irrigation so we don't have to worry about maintaining it or watering so it's foolproof! I would recommend the Standard to anyone looking for quality landscaping.

  Working with The Standard Design Group was seamless and was more personal than I expected! A designer came to my house and was full of ideas I didnt even think of and made sure I stayed in budget. I would absolutely recommend them plus their nursery was gorgeous!

  This company is one of the worst experiences I have had in my life.***** sold ** on a beautiful layout that we spent a lot of money on after he made me feel we did not which is a separate slimy sales issue. Our beautiful new landscape is covered with Weeds and dead plants and we have had no support since besides offering to do the monthly maintenance for another $500 a month. The team that did the work is great but you can not get ******* to respond or even talk to you about the warranty that we were assured we had.My opinion is they sell you on this fancy landscape and then offer 0 support or service.These photos are only half of what we sent to ***** and have another 15 pictures can share.My suggestion is to read other reviews but take your business elsewhere. We are considering legal action given that this was a very high dollar amount. There are 5 others that I have met in the past two weeks who have had the same experience and are all looking to do the same. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB as well
