      LIED ABOUT WARRANTY ON A TRANSMISSION FOR A 2017 KIA. SAID IT WASN'T COVERED AT 97919 MILES. TURNS OUT IT WAS

      Lack of transparency when asking about the price of an auto. They told us the MSRP of a Telluride was $55K and we drove 1.5 hours in traffic on a holiday weekend to be told when we arrived that the dealer markup was $8K more! That added another $10K to the price which makes it out of our price range, and we would never have considered taking the drive out there!
      When asked about this at the dealership they said, You didn’t ask about a dealer markup”. Wow! That’s all I can say. Why would I when I asked what the price was?
      Bait and switch. Just be honest and don’t waste people’s time. Our time is worth money. Especially when I’m a night nurse and just got off duty and wasted my sleep time to take a long drive with a 4 month old baby to Simi Valley. Kia did not care about any of that but expected us to suck up $10k.
      If this is what my first customer experience was with Kia, I like the Telluride, but you now lose my business due to this situation. I feel it’s a lack of integrity.

      I scheduled an appointment online 2 weeks in advance for law suite recalls to be completed. Sang a service technician took down my information and said he woukd need to keep the car for at least a week to diagnose the vehicle i stated that woukd be fine. During our conversation i mentioned i previously took my vehicke to Kirby of Ventura but did not want to take my car back there. Sang advised that he could not service my vehicle and id have to take my car back to Kirby of Ventura. I told him i didnt feel confident taking my car there. Sang advised it doesnt matter that they 1st kia of simi valley are independent and do not get involved. I asked him for a letter that he was refusing to service my car he refused. I asked him for his business card he refused. Asked him for a general card he provided me thw service and parts directors card. My appointment was scheduled well in advance it was a waste of time driving all tge way to Simi Valley just to be denied service. I didnt think a service department coukd deny you service didnt seem right.
