    On Dec 15 2023 I purchased a $5.95 tactical flashlight online from this company. I saw nothing that said if you buy this then you are signing up for some shopping program. Moments later I see a charge for the flashlight plus $119.95 as an unknown charge from Electro Widget. They can have their stupid flashlight. I want my money back from these fraudsters.

    On December 1, 2023 I ordered a phone charging cord for $4.95. My bank statement was reviewed and I observed a charge of $39.95 for the same company 3 minutes after my original order. I spoke with the person representing the company and she stated I was being charged for some kind of membership for which I never agreed or gave permission for this charge. I eventually read the reviews and find that this is an ongoing problem with this company. They are intentionally being fraudulent and something needs to be done about this fraudulent company.The person stated they will be returning my funds of $39.95 however this isn't enough due to my bank account was charged an overdraft fee of $***** due to their fraudulent activity.I would like my $39.95 to be returned and the additional $***** overdraft fee I had to pay to my bank because of this activity.I went from paying $4.95 to $39.95 to ***** because of this companies INTENTIONAL FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY.

On December 08, 2023,************** reached out to our customer service and her account was cancelled,the confirmation of cancellation is C- *****.  As well as a refund was issued.     The business did notify of the return of $39.95 which was fraudulently removed from my account. It was fraudulently removed cause there were no options for any membership. The statement to accept membership is simply not true. When I made the order for $4.95 it was immediately deducted from my account. Three minutes later the $39.95 was deducted from my account per my bank which threw a RED FLAG.

    I would like for this company to pay the $35.00 for my bank account being charged an overdraft fee due to this fraudulent charge of $39.95.

    I would also like an apology and for the company to practice and follow all consumer laws. This company must stop overcharging consumers and lying about consumers agreeing to some membership.

    Again, we are very sorry for any misunderstanding. This was stated in the terms and conditions, as well as just below where you enter your credit card info prior to submitting an order. You have to check off a box in order for the membership to process through.

    Unfortunatley, we are only able to process a refund for a charge that we have billed. We are very sorry once again, due to the refund being issued back the bank should be able to wave the overdraft fee for ***************

    I completely disagree with the statement of "A box checked."

    There is no such option available and no notification indicating such.

    To prove my point I am asking BBB to go to the website and see many many complaints of this exact matter indicated within the Reviews.

    Also they should attempt to order something and observe options for membership for some box to be checked to pot out.

    Again I asking for $35 to be returned for my overdraft fee.

    We can continue to go back and forth however this matter still stands to display and advertise your INTENTIONAL FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY

    ************************* who is an elderly woman was taken advantage of by this business. She ordered a small kitchen tool on April 9, 2023. That purchase was $19.90 and charged appropriately. Then from May through October she was charged $58.04 per month for no services for a total of $348.24. ************************* is beginning to have minimal problems with transactions like this.

The confirmation of cancellation is C- *******.  As a courtesy a refund was issued on that date for 50%. We have gone ahead and issued the remainder of that refund as well as all other refunds.     I made a purchase for a flashlight in early August. I did NOT agree to any reacurring charges nor did I have the intention of making further purchases. Today Sept 6 my card was charged *****. I have tried calling several times to no avail.

    7/12/23= Date of Transaction. Saw on the internet a cat toy for $4.95 and purchaser had choice of two shipping methods. One was free delivery and 2-5 days & the other was an expedited on @ $14.95. Of course I chose the free delivery. When I printed out invoice it showed the $14.95 amount, totaling $19.90. I immediately called MasterCard and told them of what this company did. MC told me to cancel the credit card which I did immediately. The MC staff member created a dispute and I further told them there was no address for the company, just the words Wittle Fishies on top left of printed out invoice; charges were $4.95 for the fish toy, Rush Shipping $10.95, and Tax of $4.00 (imagine $4.00 tax on a $4.95 cat toy.MC staff obtained the name of the company (I would assume thru the ********************************** the only ID on the invoice.) of Cryptic Digital Solutions, *****************************************************************************************. (Today you helpful BBB employee in ******* told me to add the letters BBB following the company name to get street address.)A few days later, I checked my account and apparently they had the NEW MasterCard account number, as MC does this when one has a 'passover' I think they call it, for automatic withdrawals for monthly payments. So I would assume they would try putting the charge thru again. I called the company, **************, and told them I was reporting this to BBB. The foreign accented person mentioned something about her canceling charge. I said I would go forward as this company, Cryptic Digital Solutions deserves to be punished for doing this. To add to problem, I received an invoice for payment $19.90, company name Insta Charger, *****************************************************************************. When googled address it showed photo of building 'For Lease'.

    I do not trust this company at all.   After realizing this company was crooked, I was advised by Master Card's Fraud Dept.,to close that card out.  I had to contact many companies I dealt with, causing much upset and work, do to their untrustworthy practices.  They also sent me an invoice via snail mail for $19.99, with but another company name, Insta Charger.  If you check the address of this company, there is a huge For Lease sign on the building. 

    Most importantly, not one word of their rebuttal is true.  Not one word.  I have no idea what they were talking about when they mentioned something about a 'membership program' and 'recurring month charge'.  

    I checked off Free Shipping on their form and nothing more.  ************ lies and lies, nothing is true in what they stated and clearly the public should be informed of their inexcusable and deceitful business practices. 

    This should be noted on your files, even if it means opening another complaint against them.  

    Might I also add, I am concerned that this company will try to use my NEW Master Card.

    I made an initial purchase in April with this company, Cryptic Digital, for ***** and that was the only purchase I made with them. They charged my debit card ***** in May, June and July for a total of 3 months! I never gave them permission to charge my debit card nor did I order anything or agree to ever order anything!     Recurring amount of $39.95 each month even though I have cancelled. I tried canceling in March!! The owners of this business should be arrested!!
