    I have just seen a charge of ****** $ on my credit card done yesterday, May 25, 2025, by ** IoT, a *************** to which I pay annual subscription for Cloud storage of the records from my 5 security cameras. The annual payment is due in August, and the price is good, just slightly more than 100 dollars per year (I am subscribed since 2023). However, when I started to investigate about this new charge, it turned out that they subscribed me for their "Artificial Intelligence Alerts", I have seen their ads about the *** popping every time I open their app on my phone, but I am not interested, so I did not inquire about their offer, and certainly I did not subscribe, I was not given a price, just out of the blue, they used the information about my ******* Master Card in their files, and charged me ****** without my permission. This is outrageous and idiotic, they charged my card, for a new service, not a recurring renewal, without my permission, and without any attempt on my side to subscribe. I complained directly to them and I hope to get reimbursed, but it is not so much about the ****** refund, I would like to warn other customers to check carefully their accounts with ** IoT, I am afraid that I am not the only customer whose credit card they charged without permission. Also, by filing this record of my bad experience with them, I hope they will stop their illegal predatory practices.

    I canceled the subscription for yi technology after that, I cannot access my app on my cell phone and then I cannot see anything on my cameras too. I cannot go inside the website.

    I have been buying (using) ** home security cameras since 2020. Over the years, I have purchased over 30 ** home security cameras of various models from ******. I really love ** features - its always on, it tilts, and free recording and viewing. And, that is why, I have purchased so many over the years. However, **, the quality of ** cameras SUCK!! None of the cameras have lasted more than a year.. thus, I have purchased so many replacements. Today, I am finally fed up with **!! Another one stopped working! Here are some of the reasons they break: The camera head stopped responding to turning command; Just simply dead; The lens became to fuzzy and blurry I can no longer see anything on the camera. Now, as I said, I have paid anywhere between $25-$40 for each camera. ** owes me at least $350 for these extremely low quality cameras. ****** has stopped selling nearly all models of ** home security camera because too many returns!!

    I had a ** app and account for many years. I just had to update the app and when I did i lost everything. I have a subscription but all that information was on the app which is empty. It just wants me to create a new one. I started the account so long ago i am not sure what email I used to open the account. the one i do not use is ************************* but i have 2 good emails. ****************** or ******************** ***** ****** ************

    Well I'm paying for the cloud subscription and they keep forcing ads on a ai update I'm already paying for cameras I can't use unless I push out the ads customer service doesn't care about any of my complaints or others on the review board on ****** reviews. Please help not just me but all others effected by this matter please.

    I bought their "security home camera" and opted to use my own sim card. A few months ago they started displaying ads whenever I try and watch the cameras. These ads take at least 10 seconds to get through. The only option to remove them is buying "cloud plans". This was not stated in the blurb when I bought the cameras. The fact that I have to go through a 2 step ad when I want to check the cameras is absolutely ridiculous!

    Scanned the ** code download for the cameras to activate. Required credit card information and charged my card for music subscription and camera services. Didn't authorize it.

    I've tried cancelling both my cloud subscriptions by email. Haven't received a response in over a month. My card keeps getting charged for service I'm not using.

    I have a YI technology product, a ** home camera that I have been using for years. Previously, you could view the camera view on the ** home app. No subscription involved to view the camera. Now, the camera is useless as they have taken over the app with ads. They prevent from viewing the video feed and are spammy to the point Im afraid I have something malicious on my phone. Most times I open the app I cannot get past the ads to the video feed that I use for security and watching my dog. The few times I am able, it takes a minute to get past the ads.The seems to be an app change that is basically bricking the hardware so that its unusable. They seem to be pushing a subscription, but the details dont even say that a subscription would block the ads. Subscription required was not part of the deal when I bought this, but they are making it unusable without it.
