I own 6 cameras; four exterior 1080 cameras, one dome camera interior and a regular interior camera. Ive owned these cameras for years and have only relied on ** recordings with the exception of one that I had a subscription for many years ago. In the past and often, Although I have a camera set to continuously recording to my ** card video. However, he often manipulates his software so that if you go back to review footage, its not available and states that no video was recorded that if youre going into the settings, I see that it says continuously record and then my ** card is in good condition yet theres no video Recently. Ive had four incidents where I had to rely on my camera to see what was going on, including a man exposing himself in front of our home and there was no video available. What I have noticed when I do not have video recorded ** attempts to sell me their subscription cloud based recordings, I believe this company is deliberately manipulating their software in order to promote their subscription fees. I paid for this camera to have it record to a ** card that I paid for and this company is not allowing it to happen. Ive emailed them numerous times to no avail - I receive a reply requesting we reply to them Above the line. I have many times and Nothing no response again. I demand that they be investigated for their fraudulent manipulation of their services and cameras that we have purchased To use in any way fit that we deem. this to me borders on criminal. I would also like to add that on the two cameras that I have it says that my subscription has expired and therefore wont allow meto watch my videos on the ** card as I have stipulated because my subscription has expired a complete and total fabrication and yet another attempt to the user into purchasing their cloud base services if this company intends to base their their cloud services then they should indicate that and not falsely clean that you can record to on your ** cardInitial Complaint

The first 3 to 4 day it worked ok but than it keeps shutting off and not sending alerts and not recording I sent them numberious emails and no results .I have disabilities I'm 67 . I had to climb to take down this camera and reboot it . You get no live customer service They only have a crappy app that suppose to guid u but it don't work.and they just keep referring u to the app. Also camera starts to become blurry . I have multiple of their cameras and purchased the cloud subscription that was supposed to come with premium phone support. Over the last six months I've had problems with the cameras and service not working correctly but every time I open a ticket they close it and there is no phone number that works to call them. The cloud service and support appear to be a scam. I would like a refund of my money or for them to actually solve my problems. If you're thinking about purchasing from this company without doubt, go elsewhere.Initial Complaint

On 11/7 an unauthorized payment of $63.93 was paid to Global Performance out of ********, Ca. while I was reading gift guide for the Christmas season AI automatically charged me for a security camera I was reviewing. After several email attempts to contact the company that day I was unable to receive any response or customer service contact phone number etc. on 12/7/24 the security camera company ****** charged my **** debit card $26.99 for a year subscription automatically when I was trying to see if this camera actually works. The whole thing is a hoax. There is no way to contact a human to receive a refund and explain the situation. The customer service number cancels the call when you attempt to call it. They will not allow you to send an email it automatically sends you back to inquiry question page. The camera does not work and is garbage. This is a total scam and I am out money now.Initial Complaint

Terrible customer service. Can't get a hold of anybody. Can't talk to anybody. They won't refund me for services that I paid for that they are not providing. August 20th 2024 I originally paid $90 for two separate accounts which I had ask to be Cancelled and Refunded due to a mistake in purchase and also purchased a $114 account for my 5 cameras , trying to correct my mistake.NOTE; Company states if I DELETE THE SINGLE ACCOUNTS, I WOULD NOT GET A REFUND, So I have NOT DELETE ANYTING! Yi Technology was never given permission to access, use or charge my ****** account which I was charged for $96.99 for a three day free trial for ************* services to view footage recorded by my security camera. This company was never set up in an auto enroll payment subscription. I had ****** set up as a payment method for other ***** subscription services using my Apple ID but this app was never approved and the subscription did not show up in my ***** subscriptions. I had used and typed in a card manually for the 3 day subscription service trial. It was cancelled before the annual service would begin so I dont get why it says an hour after the charge it was cancelled. I have reached out to the company numerous times as shown without a response to ensure the subscription was cancelled and I would not be charged for an annual subscription of something that I do not use and am unable to access. After the 3 days of the free trial the service was shut off and for some reason I was then billed the annual amount. The security camera linked to the app was also unlinked, not by my doing. The company is quick to respond to the ****** dispute, yet ignored all of my previous emails and messages. After submitting my initial inquiry to this company directly, I was offered a giveaway of 3 free products that I do not want. I just asked for a refund as the company was never given permission to charge my ****** or enroll in autopay. My account itself was never linked to ******. The app nor the trial/ subscription was ever in my ***** subscriptions either so my only option was to cancel through the app which I had done before the trial ended. Before I could respond to the companys inquiry about the giveaway, it was closed. I do not want any more products or services from this company.
