    Just got off the phone with **** *****, who tried to hook me up with a "grade A" insurance company for my needs. The price was ok so I checked the company's reviews which were an average of 1.3 stars. Since I knew **** was the middle man I went back and told him my findings and asked if he could send me quotes from any other companies. At this point he tries to force me to take this company and basically calls me an idiot for looking at the reviews and I shouldn't trust them (haha). Upon explaining why I cared about the reviews, he hung up (haha).

    If I could give zero stars I would. We paid over $1,200 in a non-refundable down payment for a 1-year Builder's Risk Policy. We paid off the balance of $1,600 on the policy three months in on November 4th. The policy was cancelled on November 27th because the insurance carrier required proof of fire extinguishers on site, but sent a letter to the wrong address. There was no attempt by any agents to reach out to me or my husband, despite having our proper address, email addresses, and phone numbers. We were told several times that our account was cancelled for non-payment, even though we had paid off the policy in full. It took almost four weeks of back and forth for them to end up telling us there was nothing they could do and that the carrier would write us a new policy at a much higher cost with only 6-months of coverage.
