    If you work at EDI, please call to resolve!Friday: I emailed Edi Express to ensure they deliver 2 pellets on Monday (not 1 but 2). I receive email back confirming 2 pellets will arrive.MONDAY: Driver brings 1 pellet. I had a handyman with me to bring the pellets inside, still had to pay him $150 for his ********* was not available for the rest of the week. *** scheduled the second pellet to be redelivered between ****am the next day. I asked that they call me ahead of time & asked if they can bring the package to the suite since the handyman was not available. They said Yes. I called the next morning and confirmed this.TUESDAY: Deliverymen does not show up in the window. I leave. He calls me later that he is at my office but it's outside the window and they did not call ahead of time. *** reschedules for Wednesday. I speak with a representative to ensure that the driver will call prior to arriving, I confirm the window, and ask if they can bring it into the suite, they confirm yes.WEDNESDAY: deliveryman shows up without notice. An EDI female rep calls me, and she is very mean. She is angry I'm not there. I explain everything to her. She ****** *** does not call ahead, they do not bring packages inside, and ignores me telling her that her that prior information I've been given is different than what she is saying. I rush to the office and make it there in 10 minutes to meet the delivery man. He is not there. I call *** and a different rep ****** that my delivery date was changed "with my permission". No it was not. I speak with a manager. She doesn't seem to know what to do. She asks if I can be available tomorrow. I say yes but I'm worried about more errors and the deliveryman showing up outside the window. She doesn't know what to do. I ask why the deliveryman left today without me receiving the package, she doesn't know. She believes the angry female rep made the change without notifying me. I go back home without my package. So much time/energy/money lost.

    I ordered material through one of my distributors, the trucking company ***** is refusing to deliver the shipment because of ******** ******* While the driver sat there and blocked the road for over an hour, *** other trucks came on in and delivered. The driver then left without unloading my material and has now cost me several thousand dollars of lost production and has delivered my material. This is unacceptable, unprofessional, and they have just a no care attitude about it.

    My apologies for the delayed response.

    Based upon the case description of the complaint:

    I ordered material through one of my distributors, the trucking company (EDI) is refusing to deliver the shipment because of "gravel road". While the driver sat there and blocked the road for over an hour, 10+ other trucks came on in and delivered. The driver then left without unloading my material and has now cost me several thousand dollars of lost production and has delivered my material. This is unacceptable, unprofessional, and they have just a no care attitude about it.

    We have looked into the claim and refute it as not valid and following are the details:

    Shipment was tendered to EDI Express by ABA Industries in Carson, CA on 3/8/22

    Shipment was delivered to a company named A S D at ************************************* on 3-14-22

    My terminal Manager states: Freight was loaded onto the city route and the driver left out at 10:04 with this being his 1st stop.
    We show that he was at this consignee from 10:29-10:35. He then left and arrived at his 2nd stop at 10:45.

    There is no way he was there for over an hour as he was still working on the dock at 9:30 on 3/14.

    Delivery was accepted by ****** ** ****** at 10:35am on 3-14-22

    Attached Delivery Receipt clearly indicates, the driver arrived at 10:29 am.....and......delivery was completed by 10:35am (in six minutes)

    There is no indication on the delivery receipt that there was a delay or, any mention to the claim we held up other trucks.

    If the driver did not unload goods, how do we have a signed delivery receipt?

    Further, the customer never reached out to EDI by phone or email regarding this matter.

    This is not even relevant to the reason I filed the complaint. The shipment causing the complaint was to be delivered in Ft Worth, TX. So if they tried to deliver in Hickory NC, I would think that is a problem.

    If that is the case, I would like to have more details of the particular shipment in question?. (ie: pro number, shipper name. consignee name, delivery address)

    My explanation was based upon a shipment/delivery which has an address match to the complainant.
