      Below is an abbreviated version of the challenges we have faced. I have a fairly comprehensive timeline of the system and challenges with Irish. Irish was recommended by ********** as a Diamond Elite Contractor. We hired them 3 years ago to install an HVAC system for us. We have paid them a total of ~$40k for this multi-zone system. We have had numerous problems with this system which they have been very slow to respond to with generally poor communication, lack of organization and limited knowledge of the system. Most recently, our system has not produced heat since early November 2024. Irish was unable to solve the problem initially and was unresponsive to my calls and emails so I reached out to another contractor. The other contractor has been making progress, but this has escalated to the regional sales manager with ********** getting approval for a replacement outdoor condenser unit. The other contractor quoted us $5500 for installation so I went back to Irish to ask if they would install this under the warranty. Irish is refusing to honor their 12 year warranty, citing a review my Mother-In-Law posted. I did not request she write or post the review. They say they will not honor their warranty unless this review is removed. I have contacted ********** for support with Irish, a contractor they highly recommend. ********** has not been able to get in touch with them, and doesn't seem interested in helping us solve this challenge.

      We attached original contract, and timeline with emails between ***** ********, ***** ***, ***** ******* and Irish Heating and Air Conditioning LLC, We are requesting a letter from ********** representatives confirming that is being communication on the issues with Mr. ******** witch  he is aware of but he continues to deny, as today 2/4/2025 Irish Heating and Air Conditioning LLC is not longer responsible for Mr. ******** equipment since another company change multiple parts on the equipment, this was 100% homeowner choice. We diagnose on 11/27/2024 compressor and power board  need to be replace, this was the day before thanksgiving, Homeowner called another company and they diagnose something different issue, due to  homeowners impatience decide to pay another company $1700.00 (in his own words)  and those repairs didn't work, he never called us to do repair under warranty he was changing and paying another company until none of those repair worked and ended up that same diagnoses we had back in 11/27/2024.

      I am rejecting this response because: I reject the contractor's response. 
      There are statements in the response that are not true or complete. 

      They claim that I did not contact them to continue work, when in fact, I reached out numerous times via phone, text and email for them to complete the warranty repair work and they did not respond. 
      I did this before hiring another contractor. Only when they did not respond to multiple requests, did I hire another contractor to look into the repair of this system. 
      This repair has included a few steps and when it escalated to replacing the entire outdoor unit, I reached out again to Irish. They have flat-out refused any further work on the system. When refusing work on the system, they cited a review made by my mother-in-law (which I did not ask her to post). They let me know they would not do any further work on our system if my mil did not remove the post and apologize for posting this. My understanding is that in CA it is not legal to hold a warranty hostage for good reviews. 

      When I approached ********** about having issues with Irish, they suggested finding another contractor. I asked if there would be any warranty issues on their end. They said, no issues. The terms of Irishs warranty do not state that their warranty is contingent on only using them for any and all work. I did not sign anything stipulating terms that are terminated by using another contractor.
