    WORST EXPERIENCE EVER PERSONALLY. AMP CAN NEVER BE CONTACTED VIA EMAIL OR PHONE. I HAVE $1700.00 OUT OF POCKET ON POWERSTEPS THAT WILL NOT FUNCTION DUE TO A FAULTY ELECTRICAL COMPONENT THAT IS UNDER WARRANTY AND HAS BEEN PROPERLY SUBMITTED TO COMPANY FOR REPLACEMENT. COMPANY CLOSED MY ISSUE AND HAS NOT SENT ANY CONFIRMATION OF REPLACEMENT PART BEING SENT OUT TO ME WITH THE CLASSIC "SUPPLY CHAIN DEMAND" EXCUSE AN UPDATE IS NOT AVALIABLE AT THIS TIME. OH AND THEY ARE CURRENTLY MOVING TO A NEW BUILDING. COMPANY QUOTE TO ME.REST ASSURED, OUR COMMITMENT TO PROVIDING EXCELLENT SERVICE REMAINS UNWAVERING. WE GENUINLEY APPRECIATE YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND PATIENCE DURING THIS TRANSITIONAL PERIOD.I *** NOT UNDERSTAND THIS AND I HAVE NO PATIENCE WHEN I SPEND THAT KIND OF MONEY ON A PRODUCT AND GET NO RESOLUTION....

    Absolutely terrible customer service. Purchased powersteps and broke within the warranty period (5 years). Been trying over a month to even get someone to respond to the warranty request. Stay far away from this company! Disgusting.

    Long story short, I have a broken shackle/support that AMP said would be covered under warranty.6 weeks have passed and still no part or eta on the part. I have been told they are a "little" behind because they have moved and, the old favorite, "supply chain issues". They have not initiated any contact at all, I have to keep contacting them. After reading the below reviews, I am apparently not the only one who is unhappy.

    I bought my steps from 4 wheel parts in ********, ** 4 years ago. I was told they came with a 5 year warranty. Well over time the driver side step stopped retracting all the way. When I contacted AMP RESEARCH to file a claim under warranty they informed me (after I jumped through numerous hoops to get them the info they "needed") that I would be paying a couple hundred dollars for the labor to fix their malfunctioning part.That is complete nonsense. Every warranty I have ever dealt with on anything automotive related, labor is always included in warranty. STAY AWAY FROM AMP RESEARCH!! They are garbage!

    Our running boards were under warranty and the warranty clearly states "AMP Research will, at its option, either repair or replace any defective product at no additional charge". Yet they expect the customer to pay for the labor. This wording in their warranty needs to be challenged. Any suggestion is appreciated.

    I purchased a set of Powersteps in March of 2021, and had issues since about a month after purchase and install with one board not retracting without helping it. I have supplied multiple warranty claims with 0 response. Now I have step that the paint has completely flaked off of the board. No response from customer service, no response to multiple emails. When calling and asking for a call back, they call and immediately hang up. At this point I am just going to throw them in the trash because that is what they are worth to me at this point. I would rather my truck look good without crappy Powersteps, than it to look crappy with these crappy looking and working Powersteps. **********************. Only one star as there is nothing lower!! There phone add says "Climbing into your truck shouldn't be like climbing Mount Everest" well getting customer service shouldn't be like it either!

    Joke of a company. Have had to replace 3 motors and now the steps are frozen. Havent even had them for a year yet. Tried all the trouble shooting on the website and nothing. The shop that installed them even said good luck with calling them so that shows you how little faith anyone has in them resolving any issues.Anyways I call and sit on hold for ************************************** the same remedies that the website offers. After I tell him I tried them all several times he responds with Well I dont know what to tell you, try ********* and immediately hangs up. Worst customer service Ive ever seen. And now looking at reviews across numerous platforms, looks like they are doing nothing about it.

    I've had my steps for 2 years. One of the steps breaks off of the mounting bracket. Nobody was on the step at the time, thankfully. I contacted customer service, because there's suppose to be 5 year warranty. They responded to my email with, the only way that breaks is to much weight on it. It's a work truck that only I drive, I don't have co-workers or anything and I'm not near the weight capacity that they say they can handle. I email back and want to talk to manager and no more responding to emails or anything. I get things are not perfect all the time, but customer service should strive to be. People pay good hard earned money for their product and get treated like c***

    The power step was pre-installed on the brand new vehicle I bought, and after six months the gear box went out. It was easily repaired, because the local installer had a spare motor on hand. After a year, the other motor went out, but this time Ive been waiting for over a month for a part. The local shop where the board was installed told me that AMP Research sent the wrong part, and after a couple of weeks they were told that parts are on back order. The websites customer contact has been disabled and if you send an email, you will not get a response. Fair warning, do not buy this product, because they do not honor the warranty advertised.
