5 starsI wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to our loan ******** ********************* for our recent refinance home loan approval.Tanias dedication, hard work, patience and expertise made our entire loan process run so smoothly.***** not only took the time to make our entire loan process easy to understand, she broke it all down line by line to make perfect sense, financially.She was so kind and compassionate and displayed such patience while explaining every detail to my husband and I throughout the entire process, literally from day one to the very end of closing day and then some.We were so impressed with Tanias honest communication and her willingness to answer any type of question or concern I had, even if It really wasnt her area of focus. 1 starNAF in my experience has been incompetent both with sales individuals as well as complaint department. NAF does not own up to mistakes, promise actions or compensation and do not follow through. NAF complaint staff takes complaints and never responds. The phone system to complaints cuts you off.Examples: NAF's chosen assessor was several weeks overdue with report leading to a financial burden. Promise of compensation wasn't fulfilled. NAF attempted to correct a title mistake only to make the title worse by not putting it in the appropriate Trust name. And most recently, NAF queried one of my 2 insurance policies to the extent that Travelers canceled one, even though funds were available in the escrow account. The cancelation may have created a negative impact on my credit and in reestablishing a new insurance policy, I was forced to pay more. NAF has still not contacted me about any of these mistakes nor offered any solutions or compensations.New American Funding

We have researched into this matter and have been advised that a call did not properly get escalated to a manager by our insurance team. The second policy not being paid was a result of human error. We have since sent payment for the new policy and emailed the tracking number for the payment to you. New American Funding has deposited the funds into your escrow account to assist with an escrow shortage caused by the error. The customer service was excellent and everyone I worked with was available whenever I needed them to be to answer questions (it was my first refi). I appreciated ******************* helping me choose the best option for what my needs were. Overall, it was quick and easy. I plan to work with them again in the future on my next home purchase!New American Funding
