We were referred to Ambrose from a friend of ours who had done his research and did compare them with other solar providers and they were the best rated, had the best panels and the cost was comparable if not better. With the new NEM 3.0 law coming in April we needed to get solar ASAP. I called to get a quote and was given three options and we chose Sunpower M series panels. They were definitely more expensive but the quality and warranty make up for the cost difference, the break even point is 6.6 years. The next step was to get our roof inspected which happened fast and the initial proposal was used and the cost was exactly what was quoted. Next it was time to get permits from the city which happened fast and we were ready to schedule installation but I had to get approval from the *** first which was definitely a process but was approved very quick as well. We were able to schedule install quickly and the process took 2 days and be ready it is very noisy so be prepared. The crew was great and answered all of my questions and told me what the next steps would be. Next up was the final inspection which happened 2 days after and Ambrose provided a rep for the city inspector which took about an hour. Now the last step before being able to turn on the system is get PG&E to approve the system which Ambrose does all the paperwork, you just have to sign one paper electronically. I was expecting to wait 30 days but they only took 4 days so then we were ready to turn on our system. I called Ambrose and they walked me though the process and we were up and running! They scheduled a follow up call for 2 weeks and this was just to answer any questions I might have and then schedule a follow up call for 6 months from now. The app is great, it shows live what solar is producing and what we are using so if you want to know what appliances use its a great app, it even shows what each individual panels are producing to ensure they are working at their peak performance.Ambrose Solar

Ambrose Solar is very professional, detailed oriented and explained the whole process before starting and answered all questions clearly where we able to understand the technical aspects of what they were doing. Excellent product and we reviewed a few before we settled on Ambrose Solar.The lead on the job was ***** who was very organized and ran his crew with utmost professionalism.We would recommend Ambrose Solar to anyone who is thinking about getting solar. Excellent product + ***************** = THE BEST. We got several quotes before going ahead and choosing Ambrose. We liked that they used ********* Solar Panels and their whole presentation, including an excellent warranty. The person that we originally met with, *********************, was great. He put everything in easy to understand "solar" language, and made sure we understood everything, from the product, to the installation, and how it all works once its turned on. The person that we dealt with through the installation and payment process was ***************************. She was equally as good and easy to work with. They were absolutely spot on with the quoted time frame for completion. They were also very easy to get in touch and communicate with. All questions were answered promptly and patiently. I have been a sunpower fan since I was doing research for a modular adu I helped project manage in 2021. Working with the company as a customer has been amazing. The sales rep was knowledgeable and helped me make a decision easily, the project coordinator ******* is thorough and I am most thrilled about the two electricians ****************** (****). They showed up at 7:30am and worked for 12+ hours to switch out the main panel and get it passed through PG&E inspection and restore power. They even went the extra step to provide a generator so I could work during the day. They are thoughtful and careful with the project and just a delight to engage with. Even though these two had only worked together for 2 days- they had a great communication and even entertained my 5 year old at the end of a very long work day. There are still a few more steps in the project, but they are hands down one of the best companies I have worked with.Ambrose Solar
