I paid Steam Green Carpet Cleaning to have my carpets steamed in my living room, bedroom and hallway but they did not complete the job; areas were completely dry and not gone over with the steamer. I tried to contact the company to complete the services that were paid for but they refused. They kept talking about stains and I kept explaining that its not about that- its the parts of the carpet that were fully dry and hadnt been steamed AT ALL, which was the service I had paid for and was not done. I fully explained the situation and they would not complete the work that I had paid for. I believe it is very unethical to charge for services not provided and do incomplete work. The carpet cleaner did not complete the job. Most of it was dry and not wet, I explained to him and he said that he sucked up all the water. The carpet was still heavily dirty and did not even look like it had been cleaned and only gotten wet in a few areas. When explaining my dissatisfaction with him he became very aggressive with me and given that I was home alone with my children I paid him so that he would leave. I went out and rented a steam cleaner immediately after the steam cleaner employee left and started cleaning it myself, and it is a difference with me, cleaning it with a rented steam cleaner, which I have pictures of immediately after he left and progress as Im doing it myself. All pictures will be attached. Steam green carpet, cleaning company subcontracted Green diamond carpet cleaning to clean my floor and gave me an invoice from Eco carpet cleaning. I Hired this company to come out and clean the carpet in one room on 4/29/24. They told me over the phone that they would charge $79 flat rate for two rooms. When they got here they raised the price to $159 for one room "Deep cleaning." They blew our breakers with their machine, the carpet still smells and is still stained.I called them on 5/9/24 in regards to the carpet still not being cleaned. They gave me a number to text photos and information to, which I did immediately. It is now 5/30/24 and I had to call them again to get any response. This time they gave me a new number and I provided information again. Now they are claiming to not have received the complaint from 5/9/24 and have blocked my number.Initial Complaint

I hired this carpet cleaning company to clean one room in my apartment on 1/20/2024. They initially quoted me $79 for the carpet over the phone. I told them that there was pet urine on the carpet which was my main concern. This quote still held true. When they arrived, after looking at the room (which is not a large room by any means), they immediately said it would be $180. When I mentioned that it would need a deep clean because of pet urine, he went up to $300. I was shocked by the increase. He said if I can pay him cash, he will do $250. I agreed to this. I left the apartment to go get cash from an ATM leaving the two workers at the apartment with my fiance. I was gone for less than 15 minutes and by the time I arrived, they were already done. It smelled the exact same and I'm not sure they even used soap. I am shocked that they would be able to do that level of deep clean in less than 15 minutes. Ignorant to the situation, I paid them the cash and they left - with no receipt given.The next day (1/21/2024), I called back to their central phone number and they had the technician call me back. He said that I should give it a few days for the smell to go away and if it didn't go away by Wednesday (1/24/2024), call him and he'll come and re-do it. I called him on Wednesday and he said he'd get back to me on times. I never heard from him again. I called the central office again on Sunday (1/28/2024). They said they'd call me back. I never heard from them again. I was finally able to reach someone on Friday, 2/2/2024. They told me that I had to "text my report" to a number that they gave me. I texted that number with the problem. They have provided no update. Every time I call back, they either say "the report is still pending and they haven't received any updates from the manager" or they tell me that "someone will call you in 5-10 minutes" and nobody ever does.This company is a scam. Contacted this business, on 1/8/2024. Asked them to do carpet cleaning for 14 stairs, a hallway, and one bedroom. I let them know that my carpets had a lot of urine stains and dirt from my dogs. I was told that they would send a technician between the times 12:00-14:00 to come and inspect my carpets and give me a quote. I received a call at 08:00 saying that they would come at 10:00. It was very inconvenient for me since Ive already reserved a time for 12:00-14:00. I was told that they would have to reschedule if they cant arrive at 10:00, but I needed my carpets cleaned today, hesitantly, I agreed to them coming earlier. Technician arrives and looks at my carpets and goes on his phone to check the companies rate and tells me first that he will have to charge 169$ for steam cleaning or I could pay 479$ for deep cleaning. I dont mind paying this price as long as the outcome is what they advertised. Technician told me that he will be able to get all of the dirt and urine out with the deep cleaning, as opposed to the regular steam cleaning service. One hour later the technician finished, I showed him a couple of the stains that were still left behind and he told me that I should wait until the carpet dries, even though the stains were still clearly noticeable in person. I paid him for the work and he left immediately, leaving oil stains in my driveway from the work truck. I contacted the business to let them know of the job that was done, and sending pictures. They told me they would write a report and nothing was said after that. I got a call from the company saying that I have to wait until the carpet dries and they will get the rest of the stains out.I asked for deep cleaning and paid an extra 310 for this service, however there are still spots left and odor, making me question whether or not this was really a deep cleaning service or regular steam cleaning. Now they are ignoring my texts and calls and I would not want them touching my carpets again.Initial Complaint

Saw online for my area for carpet cleaning. Gave a fast cheap quote and set up appointment for next day. Tech showed up and immediately starts up selling their "deep cleaning" method promising that they will comeback if we are not happy with the work. Called next day for the work was just not done properly for it looked the same prior to the tech working on it. 2 days, multiple texts , emails and 4 customer service reps later, I got a call from tech guy stating that I will have to pay extra if he was to fix the bad job that he did. After that I just got ignored and hung up on by everyone. It's my fault that I did not read reviews of the Company before, because what I saw was almost a carbon copy of what they just did to me. The amount I paid is very little, but I feel that it is my responsibility to do this so other will be made aware and hopefully the more report filed would stop this Company from continuously doing their bad business practice and taking advantage of consumers.Initial Complaint

This is the worst experience I have ever had with any business. Everything from the quality of their work, to being up sold and ripped off, to the poor communication. I was originally quoted a special for $89 for three rooms along with a $150 charge for a five seater sectional clean. When the tech arrived he explained that I needed a deep clean in my living room and shampoo in both of my bedrooms as well as a shampoo for my carpet. I ended up agreeing and he quoted me $570. As I was leaving to allow him to do his work he came back and explained that his manager said that its actually $50 additional dollars for my couch to be shampooed. So I agreed and gave him $620 cash. About an hour later he was done with doing a deep clean of my living room floor shampooing my carpet in my bedrooms and also my couch. When I arrived home I saw that he most definitely did not complete a deep clean of my living room as there were still heavy stains and dirt marks around my living room area also there was visible dirt to my couch and plenty of dust that I could wipe off with a baby wipe. I have attempted to call this company multiple times and at one point they did agree to do a redo of their job and were intending to come and were scheduled to come today at 10 AM. After waiting for two hours for the tech to arrive for the redo they never arrived and when I called customer service they explained that the manager had chosen to cancel the redo with out notice. I have requested an invoice several times and never received it as well. Basically Ive been SCAMMED OUT of $620. They have now forwarded all calls from my main phone so I can no longer reach their office. But luckily I have multiple phones so I will keep calling to try to get a refund or a redo of the poor job. Huge regret using this company. I will definitely be reporting to better business bureau as well.Initial Complaint

My steam green carpet cleaning came to my house and cleaned for only 15 min when they told me it should have been at least 45 min, I got the run around for months trying to get them to do a redo, which they agreed to and then didn't show up. Stay away from them! The main line seems to go to cellphones all over the place - ******, ********* so it's unclear where they are truly located.Initial Complaint

Per the reviews on this website. ****************************** A over charge quote of $120 turned into $450. Then when asked to redo for order removal, I was unexpectedly charged $60 more under duress (tenants complaining, moved it and could not stand the original work that was done). This company is at minimum unethical, and unlawful in the second charge of $60 which should have been $0. Please shut down this company or at the least remove from top of ****** search so others are not hurt emotionally and financially as we were.Initial Complaint

We hired this company to come clean my dads house as we are putting it o up on the market to sell. My dad passed away and we were trying to get everything done to ease the situation. The company agreed to come out on Monday, August 8th 2022 between 10am and 12pm. They did not contact us until almost 2pm. After an initial quote of $29/room, we were charged almost $400 for 3 rooms. When we arrived back to my dads house, it was as if nothing had been done. We contacted the company, sent pictures and they ensured we would get a call the next day for a technician to come out. We never heard back and they no longer are answering our phone calls. There are many negative reviews on yelp which i wish i saw before wasting $400. This company claims if they cannot get stains out, nobody can, which obviously isn't true. You can even see that there are still spots of the carpet with ring indents which should have came up when vacuumed. I'm not sure what they even did for 3 hours.
