My father became ill and made me an authorized user on his accounts while my brother carries the **** We have been attempting to gain access to his billing to ensure he is up to date and can update mailing address. Mechanics refused to honor the *** or authorized user status. From February to July they called every hour on the hour but would not speak to us. It makes no sense. Thr vehicle was repossessed. From our calculations there was very little owed. You cannot get anyone on the line. There is a **** individual who emailed once but I think he is a bot. There is a ***** person who asked me to wire her money but refused to say where the vehicle was so I am not too comfortable with her request. There is no one else who will answer the department we get transferred to. This ***** refused to provide a last name or employee identification. She said she works alone. I HAVE TRIED TO GET REMEDY WITH THIS SECURITY TRANSFER AGENT THROUGH MANY ATTEMPTS BUT THEY CONTINUE TO REPORT UNVERIFIED ACCOUNT INFORMATION THAT HAS RUIEND MY CONSUMER FILE ENDING IN 9661..A FTC FRAUD REPORT WILL BE FILED ON THE BEHALF OF THIS CONSUMER. I had the vehicle about 4 months smoked and heated , **** had my vehicle for 5 month my new car need an engine, But ok next check engine running hot. Wow Im 57 old woman im not in a hurry I bought a lemon , sales rep brought it to my attention A person at **** said this vehicle sold damaged, so many problem but , I pray its ok July I go to my bank make a large deposit ok next my work check is being returned, no fraud no their they freeze my account , no money in none out, yet their charging sac/ cling then on July 27 Im prepaid to pay761.00 whoever, Enterprized has mistakenly made a signature purse!!! I run over there they denied said your insurance AAA , aaa say no their response I explain in tear to the attended she takes 300 and say you have to make it up. Aug 27 while relaxing after work a gentleman walk over opens the door and Im in my underwater!!! That soon no notice , compassion please I gave been takin this hard and I believe your gearing my truth. Im calling calling begging I need my money , Im homeless and sleep in the car after work soon Nov was to be my move in!!!! July 14 2023 I called ********* police department to come out and make a report that my car was stolen. I was informed to contact my insurance company, I received the phone call from the police station that my car was not stolen it was repoed My car is completely paid off May 14 2022, I have all my receipts no missed/late to any of the Mechanics bank or CRB. I owe ******* no amount of money.. Who are they.. call bank huh there is no Bank I own my car outright for one year now credit report proves paid in full I have legal title ownership, this company has fraudulently stolen my vehicle and requested a new title for what reason I don't know I have title legal ownership and registered owner there's no liens no court dates no repo orders no court orders or judgments per DMV printout available upon request it's unfair to take a person property their only means for transportation. and sell it back to me. im credit worthy My credit report my receipts show and prove paid in full zero balance. I've tried to solve this problem over the phone July 14th, July 17, July 19, and 20, 2023. and in person on July 24th at 12:00 p.m. at the address provided they made a copy of my ID and told me that I could not have my property as I handed them a copy of a demand letter also even though I have the police redemption receipt None of the parties to solve this problem by releasing my vehicle instead I'm asked for my car keys they expect me to hand over my property that I own outright they give me phone numbers and addresses that does not exist, I've taken all the steps via DMV to obtain my rightful title my car was fraudulently stolen from *********************************************************. I am rejecting this rejecting this because it's not true it's false I paid my car in full I have provided documents that it's paid in full I've made payments for three and a half years to cbr I never spoke with anyone from the bank my car was stolen from a location and was told that it was repoed DMV told me that they requested a title on my car you can't request a title for a car that has payments DMV told me that my car was not ordered to be repoed order by the judge is not a collections my car was paid off a year and a half ago and I never received the title or it was sent back I've been trying to get it the title for my car since August *********************** any type of way legitimately I would have my car based on the evidence and the fact that I have showed and proved to DMV to the courts to better Business bureau and to the finance company at this time I was told that my car has been auctioned if my car is still available for me to pick up that's what I want to do I need my car I am handicapped my mother has a disability that's the only means of transportationMechanics Auto finance is no longer in business they are now Bank first this was an indirect personal loan my car was not collateral yet still they took my car I paid for my car in full within 3 years it was paid off all my receipts to prove and show proof I would like to have my car returned as soon as possible I would like to be compensated via surety bond that I have provided I have provided all the information for you to look up for you to search your records and hand me my car and title in the name of *****

On 7/25/2023 I overnighted a certified payment to pay off my 2022 ****** Highlander that was Financed through Mechanics Bank Auto Finance. The payment posted to the account ******* on 7/26/2023. The payment was verified with **** of America that the cashiers check was cashed. Our titles are electronic here in ******* and still waiting for them to release the Financial Lein on the Title to the Highlander. I had paid off another auto loan with a different bank and it was electronically released the next day. I have been on the phone 3 other times with hold times over 30 minutes to reach out to get this lien released and had no help.Business Response

In desperation to improve my credit profile because Im in the process of buying a home for my child and I, I paid the balance of the account for a pay to delete from my credit report. I was told that I could not receive documentation that my payment would suffice for the pay to delete the account from my reports. The payment was taken off my debit card on 7/28/2023 at 12:22pm. I have made two principal payments in additon to my normal monthly payments. However, the two additional payments were not applied directly to principal, but interest also.3/16/22 payment of $2750.00 after making monthly payment of $401.88 on 3/1/22.4/20/23 payment of $100.00 after making monthly payment of $401.88 on 4/13/23.I spoke to **** on 4/19/23 and 4/26/23 who advised it would be adjusted and correct; however, it was not.I spoke to ******* on 6/21/23 who advised the $2750.00 would not be adjusted and corrected and that I must call after making principal payments in order for the payment to be applied correctly. Although i did this on 4/12/23 email and call and still wasn't corrected. On 4/12/23, I requested the principal payment of $2750.00 that was made in addition to the $401.88 monthly payment to be applied to principal. I was advised by **** it would be adjusted and corrected. On 6/21/23, I made an additional principal payment of $100.00 that was made in addition to the $401.88 monthly payment. Interest was applied on both payments. i again requested the corrections. I spoke to ********************* who acknowledged she saw ****'s notes; however, stated she cannot speak on behalf of **** and that the adjustment/correction would not be completed. This continued on for a week with of calls and emails. Finally, 6/28/23, I was advised the corrections were made; however, incorrectly. Instead of the two principal payments of $2750.00 and $100.00 being applied to principal only, Mechanics Bank adjusted all my previous payments, adding additional interested inaccurately, incorrectly, and fraudulently!!! I was only able to upload five attachments. I have more supporting documentation showing the amount previously applied before and after the fraudulent adjustments. Instead of lowering my balance by applying the incorrect interest amounts that were supposed to be applied to principal only, they incorrectly applied more interest.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: the balance after adjustment doesn't reflect in the principal balance. Attached is the account history before and after the adjustment. Furthermore, why was every payment adjusted? Example, 5/12/23 originally showed $34.29 toward interest, after inaccurately adjusting every payment, $45.28 was applied toward interest!!!! I made every payment the month prior to the due date. 5/12/23 payment was made for 6/7/23. Your accounting practices are erroneous, fallacious, and falsified!!!!BBB - please compare the two attachments.

like to thank *** ********* for reaching out to us and allowing us to
investigate this matter. We would like *** ********* to know that upon receipt
of his complaint, our management team reviewed all relevant information
connected with his concerns and records confirm that we complied with bank
policy, procedures and terms of the Retail Installment Contract. In addition,
we have confirmed that our management team has made numerous attempts to
contact *** ********* to discuss his concerns, unfortunately to date we have
not been able to make contact with him. We value our relationships that we have
built with our customers and invite *** ********* to reach out with any further
questions or concerns he may have.
