    Disappointed with a few items. Lack of personal communication/unable to speak with a human representative is at the top of it. Never have I been considered late with a payment until I used Papayas service. I accrued a $40 late fee because of their “service” and I have yet to be refunded due to their negligence. Currently I am awaiting to hear back from them (phone calls and emails) regarding a mishap between Papaya and NICOR resulting in me being shorted $150.50. Frustrated is not a strong enough word but I’ll let it suffice. Hopefully posting at the BBB will jar them into action. If you use this service, BEWARE & use at your own risk knowing it may be next to impossible to get them to assist in straightening things out.

    Customer service does not exist! If you create a ticket, you will not be communicated with for weeks & the communication will be poor, not answer your questions, it won't solve the problem, and you will have no recourse or be able to speak to a human. I had a provider refuse to see my son because our "paid" bill had not been received for 3 weeks. Currently I am dealing with potential fraud. They debited my HSA card back in July, but the provider had never received payment. A week ago I created a ticket. Today I have been informed via the app that the money has finally been sent by usps... 6 months later!! If they debit my card AGAIN, I will report it as fraud. I had massive amounts of medical bills last year & used to love the ease and convenience of the app. When bills started to not be paid in a timely fashion or at all, no one communicated with me after many escalated tickets. It took many weeks to resolve problems that caused a lot of stress on my family & finances. We got reported to debt collectors because of their mistakes & no one even let us know what really happened. Now I have to go back & double check every single bill they said they paid because they suck st their job. Don't bother with this service! It will cause huge problems for your credit & will create a giant time suck as you have to double check everything they say they do.

    Do NOT use this app. My bill showed at the bottom that they accept Papaya. I used Papaya to pay my bill on 10/24/22 and my credit card account still has not been charged a month later. I am glad I still have the confirmation number for my payment in case things escalate. I should have just sent a check myself in the mail.

    I am completely disgusted with this third party billing company. I have used them over two years now. I have had payments pulled from my account on time but paid out to the billing company late. In my current case, money for my bill on August 18, 2022 was pulled from my account.. but was not paid until TODAY (August 31, 2022). I also am looking at my checking account and the same amount that was already removed form my account on the 18th is being pulled out AGAIN. I have called my utility company and even they do not recommend customers to use them. I am switching to auto pay and will NEVER use them anymore. I still have not got an email back (because as you know they do not have a phone number on file) and now I will have an additional $250 removed from my account.... Just completely disgusted. If there was a negative star please know that is the rate I would give them.

    I had papaya pay an electric bill for me, $300, I thought they paid. They took out the money and still haven't paid my electric company. I now have a shut off notice for the 25th and am out 300 dollars. I call and call and no one ever answers. They tell you to email and no one has gotten back to me, other than to say they got my email. Hopefully this will get their attention.

    Paid a bill on line. They give you no confirmation number. Take it out then put it back in the account and take it out 2 more times. This site is a joke. Your better off getting a bank check and sending it snail mail. At least then you'll have a paper trail of your payment. 🤬
