    I have $69.64 in cash back from this company that is owed to me. I have tried on multiple occasions to request payment. When trying to redeem my Cashback, your security question is asking to verify an order from 2 years ago. I’m unable to do that. I have sent a email on 3/30 and again 4/12 advising that this is not possible. Your company did not respond at all and will not release my funds that is owed to me. Please assist.

    We want to set proper expectations that we receive and responded to all of your emails to us but there was something wrong with your email used to reached us. I have attached screenshots to this reply as proof that we were promptly assisting your email but you were not getting it for unknown reason. 

    Please let us know what other email you have so that we can send you our support or you can send us new email explaining what happened and what assistance you needed from us and I personally will help you with this.

    Again, we apologize for what happened as we do not intend this to happen.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 21628535, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

    The issue has been resolved. The reason it was resolved is because the merchant provided a number that was identified as something different then what MaxRebates was calling it but it was finally found.

    This is fraud complaint against this company, and I want this company to complete their terms. I made a purchase from Cox Communications on 09/19/2023 04:39 PM through their site which works on commission and provides a cut. I fulfilled their terms and conditions, and inspite of multiple emails, I have not received my cash back.
    I provided all details of purchase and proof for my purchase thrpough their site, and still I have not received my cash back even after 5 months.
    I used maxrebates for this purchase, and I had I known that they are fraud, I would have used other cashback sites. Any case, I lost cashback due to Maxrebates, where they are now intently not providing the cashback for a legitimate purchase.
    I am also adding pdf of my all correspondence with this fraud company for consideration.

    I am rejecting this response because your inability to get this resolved cannot be put on customers. I used your service and how and what you do to get me my cashback is your problem. I met with the terms and conditions that you impose on customers, but then not fulfilling your part, and citing your dealing with COX as a constraint, is indeed a fraud. Hence, just stating your inability for not honoring your terms is wrong and fraudulent. It seems you are running a scam.

    Upon further investigation, we noticed that you initially submitted a different order number based on the information provided in your email. However, upon reviewing the email confirmation you received from the merchant, we advised you to resubmit a new claim as we found a different order number that could be used for the appeal process.

    We understand your frustration regarding this matter. It's important to note that the order you made wasn't processed through our order portal, which means it wasn't associated with your eligible account.

    Despite conducting a second review to justify the cashback eligibility with the merchant, they refused to accept the appeal. We empathize with your situation and have done our best to assist you throughout this process.

    I am rejecting this response because the order number is accurate. Its Maxrebates inability to understand, which I am surprised that you have Cox as retailer and u still don't know, that Cox uses multiple order numbers in their system. for same purchase. I provide all info. to you guys. You are just trying to come up with reasons for refusing to honro this purchase. This also shows how fraudulant you guys are.

    Cox have multiple order nos. for same order, one that they send in the email, then when the order gets confirmed and then they have work order number, then they have shipment order no. Thsi is based on 1 txn. that I had with them, and u guys deal with them for multiple customers. I am ashamed that you dont know this, and u r finding reasons to refute my claim.

     

    If your intent is not to honor your own terms and conditions, then BBB you can close this as unresolved with Merchant being fraud and scammer. Customer provided all info. with regards to the order no. dispute, and still this response talks about it. That clearly shows, they never had intent to honor the purchase. I lost $65 from this fraudulant company and no one should use them. 

    BBB team - please keep all these text as it is, unless they give me my cashback.

    clicked through 1/28/2024 to make a purchase on aliexpress, shopping trips shows the wrong date, either way no way to make a claim for rightfully deserved cashback

    We would like to set proper expectations that we are working with different merchants and accept their terms and conditions on how cashback can be earned. 

    Technically, the order that you are claiming was not successfully ordered using our order portal and this was made directly through Merchant's website. 

    Merchants has their own set of rules and not rules are the same with others, we apologize if we cannot help you make an appeal with an order you made claiming this has cashback because this was never tracked in our system and the merchant you had for this does not entertain or accept missing order inquiries which is out of our control.

    I believe this was explained to you by our representative and you also got a pop message saying " Merchant does not support order inquiries"

    Again, we apologize if this is beyond our control and hoping this explains everything.
