    I have used Rakuten (even before it was Rakuten), AAShopping, and several other portals for years and years with very little trouble. I made a purchase via MaxRebates because of the perceived payout on a site that the others didn't carry. I figured it wouldn't hurt to try it. There is a NINETY DAY waiting period. I received notification that my payout was available. Joke's on me. I tried. Max was $100 (on > $300 payout). It "failed." I contacted support and got a runaround about how it's a security thing. *******t. I had to go through all sorts of verifications to PROVE MY INITIAL PURCHASE. *********** Well I did that and everything is still on hold. It shows the payout amount but won't let me actually get the payout. This is now almost 5 months since my purchase.
    I will report them, I will file a demand letter, and I will tell everyone I know about this experience. It may not hurt them in the short term but I'll get them, even if I have to call my lawyer family member in.
