Today I decided I wanted to cancel my order, and, as you can see, it has remained unshipped. There was a "cancel" button next to that status, and, despite hitting it multiple times, it showed no change in the order's status. When I went to the link they provided for support, feedback, and complaints ([email protected]), I could fill out a form. However, it wouldn't allow me to submit it once completed. It said I still needed to verify with the "I am not a robot" thing despite having already done so and refreshing the page multiple times.Business Response

The cancel option was not available because the book was already being shipped out with USPS tracking 9449******************. Once you receive the book, let me know and I will give you a return label to send it back.
Furthermore, both our email and phone number are given on the website and you could have called or texted us with your concerns.

I placed an order from this company in 2020, they never sent the item or provided a tracking number. The order was for a textbook for a college class I was taking. The company initially responded when I notified them of the missing order but didn't come up with anyway to get the order to me so I asked for my money to be returned. They never responded, so I contacted by bank and disputed the charge. Now 2 years later I received a letter that from a possible scam company Accountsreceivable at accountsreceivable.com to pay a $480 debt or they will notify the 3 major credit reporting companies. The books value was about $50. I never received the order or a refund. This is a scam company I know now from all the reviews. I see this has happened to a lot of people but I don't know how seriously to take the threat. I am currently in contact with a lawyer. My hope is that by submitting this no other people go through this and that my credit score isn't affected. I already paid for a book I never received so they still owe me a refund but I will settle for no more contact. I have email proof.Business Response

The customer had received the book and we provided tracking number at the time as proof of delivery. However, she filed a chargeback against us for the rental price of the book and never returned the item either. We sent her numerous emails asking her to cancel the chargeback but there was no response and eventually the account was sent to a collections agency for recovery of funds. Accounts Receivable is not a scam....they are a nationally accredited collections agency who will handle this matter. The customer can make partial payments to the collectors and once the payment is made, they will close the case.

I am rejecting this response because: I never received the order and the company sent the tracking number only after I had sent multiple emails saying I didn't get the order or a tracking number. I got the tracking number days after it says it was 'delivered'. I am now receiving a $500 bill for a $45 book. No communication for 2 years now this. Just checking the reviews for the collection agency you can see that this same scenario has played out multiple times.

I ordered a textbook for class on June 29. I chose this site because they offered the best price: it was too good to be true. The initial email was already sketchy, and did not offer much information beside a generic-looking receipt of my order. After waiting 11 out of the 5-10 business day, I reached out. On July 21 they finally provided me a tracking number. The tracking number was only valid for a few days and no longer works. I was thankfully able to quickly get a refund from my bank, not this bogus company. Today is August 17 and the book never arrived.Business Response

The book was shipped out with USPS tracking 95******************65 and has been lost in the mail. We refunded the customer in full and closed the order. I am not sure what this "complaint" is about at this time.

ZERO STARS!!! I purchased a book and never received a book it tracking number. I emailed and called the company they never answered and did not issued a refund. Horrible company!! Don’t ever order now I don’t have a book for a class I need. I could of purchased from Amazon but I decided to go with this company what s horrible mistake!! I rented a text from everytext.com. I never received the text and didn’t realize that it was missing until I received a threatening email stating that they were going to send my account to collection for $480 and they charged me another $25. The book only costs $90. I explained to them that I didn’t see anything on my cameras. So, I asked them to file a claim/complaint with USPS and they refused.Business Response

The book was delivered to the customer on May 3rd with USPS tracking 934192*********1040598. The customer is claiming non-delivery even though almost 3 months have passed since the order was delivered. She never informed us that the book was not delivered when the order was placed back in April. Only now, when it is time to return the merchandise , she is claiming non-delivery and citing 3 month old camera footage. We have offered to settle the account for a $60.00 payment and close the matter. The account has been sent to collections for recovery at this time unless we hear from the customer regarding the direct payment.Initial Complaint

I rented a textbook from this company, but returned it ASAP when I realized that they are unreliable. According to their policy, I should have received a FULL refund if returned within 30 days. I paid $26.92 for the rental; they only refunded $16.94. I want my damn $9.98 back.Business Response

Customer used our return label to send the rental book back before the rental period for which she was charged $4.99. Also rental items that are returned for a refund are subject to a $4.99 shipping charge (the original amount we spent on shipping). Hence a total of $9.98 was deducted from the total amount the customer paid originally.

I am rejecting this response because: These people KEEP lying. As I stated to them via email, at least THREE times now, THEIR POLICY IS TO ISSUE A FULL REFUND IF RETURNED WITHIN 30 DAYS (see attached). I returned within a week or 2 because of the horrible customer service. The only reason they are responding is because I told them I opened this case. And I will continue filing complaints until they refund the damn money.
Useless people.
