I paid this company for a document, I was told it would take 7 days. I called within their 24 hour window for refunds. As soon as I called, the document was immediately finished. I called many times but the billing department never responded within the allotted time. I simply would like a refund as the company failed to provide me certain details when I was making the order.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: During the phone call with the customer service representative, they failed to provide additional information. I asked for any and all details regarding this process. The agent failed to tell me that Id have to mail the full amount of the citation with the letter. I asked many times for every bit of information to help me make my decision. This was a very important detail that should have been addressed.

Hi, I had a traffic violation that I was contesting and Getdismissed informed me they would help fight this and that they had a long history to fighting similar cases. Before I signed up I told them if I have question would they help I was insured yes that it was an easy process they would walk me through it and there was no need to go to court as they are pros for fight traffic violations with trial by declaration. They convinced me to sign up based on their confidence they had done this many times. I followed all their instruction as they emailed me form to fill out and they filled out statement of Facts and gave me instructions to send to court. I did all of this and 2 weeks later I got mail back from court saying your trial by declaration was not accepted as their is a form that is required called statment of I.D. that needs to be signed and packet sent back. I read the statement of I.D. and i did not understand what their asking almost saying for me to agree I was the driver but whole point is to contest this. I called Getdismissed back and asked them for help since they are the supposed experts since they confirmed they do this all the time. I spoke to ****** she said she was a manager and said there is nothing they can do that I would have to figure this out on my own. I argued with her that I signed up with the assurance they would help me with any documents that needed to be sent to court. She's said we'll every county is different and in this case they could not help me or give any further directions. I told her they knew upfront what courthouse and county it was and agreed to take me as a client to help but she still refused to help or elevate my concerns. I told her this is classic bait and switch but she didn't care. I am in process of seeking legal counseling to help me since they refused and wasted my time. Unfortunately you are confused and misinformed. Please read the terms and conditions of the service you signed up for. You hired us ONLY to complete your trial by written declaration and your defense document based on how you answered our questions. We did that. Then it is up to you to submit and deal with the court. I have used this business before with no problem but this time I had called this business to give them specifics about a specific service which I thought they might or might not offer. They told me they have dealt with this issue several times and in my area, so I purchased their service to find out later that they cant provide me with the service and I had to buy their service from another business. I called them to file a complaint requesting my money back for this particular instance but the person I spoke to said she was the supervisor and refused to give me her name due to privacy reasons and told Me there is not other number or department that I could speak with to get a refund for the services that were not provided. She said we have provided the service and its on you if you cant use it. This is very unethical and I would like for this business to be investigated for this concern. It appears that you engaged the service to provide you a defense package for your son not for you. In fact your son had 2 tickets and we provided the service for one of them for free and only charged you for one ticket. You agreed to all our terms and provided the information we need to complete the documents. We completed everything per the terms. It is not up to us if the court will accept the documents or not, that is up to you and the court. We only prepare documents per your request so you can fight a traffic ticket.Customer Answer

I am writing to formally dispute the recent response regarding the claim of service provided, as the details mentioned are incorrect. Firstly, the service was not for my son, as you state, but for my daughter, *****, who is 17 years old. She received two traffic tickets, and after contacting your business to inquire about the court process, I was reassured by your staff that a written declaration would be accepted, despite the court letter stating mandatory appearance in court.
When I called your office, I specifically asked about the fact that my daughter is a juvenile and was told that the written declaration would still be an option. Additionally, I mentioned that when I used your service for my other daughter in the past, the court letter did not indicate a mandatory appearance, and I was reassured that this would not be an issue for ***** either. I was also informed that paying for one ticket would result in the second ticket being free, which is why I proceeded with the service.
However, after purchasing your service, my coworker informed me that the information I had received from your office was incorrect. To verify, ***** contacted the court clerk directly and was told that a hearing by written declaration would not be accepted for her traffic violations. As a result, I am requesting a refund based on the incorrect information provided by your team, which led me to believe that the written declaration would be a viable option when it was not.
I would also like to point out that all calls made to your office are recorded, and the recordings will confirm the details of our conversation, including the misinformation provided to me. Given that the advice I was given was inaccurate, I believe a full refund is warranted.
I would appreciate it if you could review this matter promptly and issue a refund as requested.

This company deceivingly signs you up for their service for a one time fee plus additional monies that fight the traffic ticket for you. They have been billing me yearly since 2020 without my knowledge. Nor did I ever authorize a yearly charge. I just wonder how many people are being duped by this *** There must be fine print somewhere in their sign up page which states they can bill you over and over. Im very careful with this sort of thing. These people are crooks stealing from innocent people. They advertise they can help you fight traffic tickets, then they get you to pay for the service once and keep billing you yearly.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I signed up for a one time service. i had a ticket i needed help with. Who signs up for a yearly subscription for a ticket service? No one - especially not me, i never agreed to it and nor did i see any emails warning me about the re-occuring cost. I found about 7 other people online who have the some complaint. refund me the full amount or we are looking into a class action suit for your fraudulent business practices.

These people make false claims such as, we prepare your "expert defense," then hand you a document with so many grammatical errors it could've been written by a 3rd grader. They send numerous emails with statements such as, "you don't have to fill out paperwork" then you retain their services with money and the next set of emails are, "...legally you must provide us with exactly what you would like to say." They tell you they've been in business over 20 years and completed thousands of tickets but say it's illegal for them to share their success percentage. When you get into trouble with the law and you feel its unjustified, it puts us in a vulnerable state and clouds our judgement. I went against my own better judgement thinking I should just give it a shot and I end up truly regretting it. I could've found the forms and filled them out for free but now I just spent an extra $100 thinking these people would provide me with a educated fighting chance. The only thing I am guilty of is believing their bold claims and salesman-like statements. The fact they remain in business after preying on the helplessness of their consumers is what ***** about this country. Save your money, get the legal documents yourself and get help from the court library for free! It's worth fighting on your own. You may get lucky with the court but it's not worth hiring this company and adding to your debt to still lose.Business Response

All this company does is send a questionnaire and then generates a generic template to print out. If you read it yourself it sounds like it was automatically created they charge $100 then try to dupe you into $69 annual payments Before the service I had some hope after it though I was like this company is just some company to bank off the idea of trial by written declaration you can just print yourself and doBusiness Response

I hired Get dismissed on 5/17/2022 to get help rid of traffic ticket. I paid about $110 to clear my ticket, and I was successful. I had no complaint about the service itself. But, a year later in May 2023, I found a charge of $59 on my credit card that I never agreed to pay. I called them, and they said that it was a yearly insurance that renews automatically. I told them I didn't need an insurance, and I wanted the insurance cancelled. Basically, they explained to me that the moment I signed the first payment, it was automatic renewal of yearly insurance unless I cancelled it. So, it was my responsibility to figure out that they signed up the renewal behind my back, and it was my responsibility to figure out and cancel it. If it is truly an insurance, I am supposed to cancel it any time. Correct?Business Response

The consumer did engage our service and also engaged our traffic ticket protection that does renew once a year unless cancelled. She may have forgot she did this. As we do not we anyone charged if they do not want to renew we always send out 3 separate emails one week apart telling them to turn off the auto renew if they do not want this. She did not do this and it renewed. We are always happy to refund consumers that get charged in error however she already filed a credit card dispute and now we cannot refund as this is with the credit card companies to decide.Initial Complaint

I got a red-light traffic ticket in ************** **********. My fine was $500. I paid ************ $99 to write a trial by declaration for me. I gave them 7 reasons my ticket should get dismissed. They used 1. They are not attorneys or lawyers. I was found guilty so the traffic court kept my $500 bail. GetDissmissed kept my $99 and now I have to pay $56 for traffic school. That is $655 for my ticket. That caused additional expenses on my side. The defense documents were not defending my case, but rather setting it up to fail. The client hired us to provide him his trial by written declaration and defense package. We have done that and have also provide it properly to the client. The client incorrectly states that his defense was rejected by the court because we used incorrect forms. This is not true. We use the required state provided documents the same as we have done for 18 years and tens of thousands of tickets in CA. You can also see by the note the court sent him that he did NOT fill out his bail check properly and as such was negligent and the court returned the documents. This site is a worthless waste of time and money. They just make you file your own Trial By Declaration after stealing $130 from you. You can go to court and file a Trial by Declaration by yourself without this site. That is the one and only service they provide. Telling you to file your own court case. This site will not file the case for you. They will not mail documents. They will not aid you at your court appearance. They will not discuss your case with you. He paid for us to provided him his full defense package and trial by written declaration so that he can fight his traffic ticket. We did that and provided him the full service that he paid for. Instead of following our instruction he wanted us to mail his defense package to him so he didn't have to download it just like tens of thousands of other people have been able to do. We did this for him free of charge. We also provided him an extension on his ticket free of charge
