      On 3/4/23 Federal tax law was supposed to be helping me resolve some tax ***** I initially gave them 600$ for a down payment to get my tax **** lowered so that I could pay it off,my payments were 666.00$ per month and I paid that for over a year, but they haven't done anything for me,they never contacted me unless it was about money, and then I received a letter in the mail from the *** and it prompted me to look into this further. Upon talking to the *** they told me that nothing was submitted to them on the behalf of Federal tax law and that my house was in the final stages of getting taken from me for these same taxes.When I called again No one answered and when they did they pushed me off to someone else.i don't want to lose my home and they have taken advantage of me, I've given them over ****** dollars.I have all payment recipe

      October 2023 ****** paid $7000.00 The business has said they would help me to reduce or eliminate my tax debt. I have previously asked for a refund, to which I was ignored. The reason I am filling a complaint is because the business has not responded to my inquiries as to what, if any, plan of action they have for my case.       They said they could get my *** tax debt removed given my information and circumstances, they then told me I needed to pay $650 for them to pull a report and max a full plan of how they were going to get my tax debt forgiven, they then got on a call with me the next day just to try to sell me on over 10k in services and did not provide me any plan or help. They pressured me into one of the agreeing to pay 3k over a payment plan and have not provided any help on anything and tell me the *** is holding up the process and the person that sold me won't get on a call with me after saying they would be there any time for me day or night. They just try to sell you as much as they can immediately knowing they won't deliver using personal sorties to hook you in and make you feel like they just want to help you. It is the best scam I have come accross.

      On May 31, 2023, I entered into an agreement with this company to file an amended return and tax penalty abatement petition with the ***. Within two months, i assembled and sent all the information they requested and they prepared an amended return that showed I owed MORE than the previously filed and accepted return. I had agreed to the amended return process because I was encouraged to claim business expenses for my start-up consulting business. However, the tax preparer would not complete the amendment to include those additional expenses as he did not believe they were warranted. Fine, that's what I thought, but the salesperson / compliance director insisted that I had overpaid and should file an amended return. In addition, I had to educate the tax preparer on how to handle a partial 60-day IRA *********** gave up on the amended return and I requested the firm to go forward with my penalty abatement petition and provided them with my statement of circumstances on May 1, 2024. After countless messages left with no response, I finally heard from my case manager on August 7, 2024 that my penalty abatement request had been approved (despite me never seeing or approving the request) for over $4,000. However, my tax outstanding was only reduced by about $1,700. I have tried weekly to make contact with my case manager to find out what was filed, and why the full amount had not yet been applied to my account. She said that we needed a conference call with the enrolled agent, but we have not been able to connect on that. I am so fed up with dealing with this company that doesn't delivery what they promise, takes the money and runs, and doesn't respond to phone calls seeking clarification or status. Almost every day since May 31, 2023, I have regretted signing that contract and wished I had worked with a local firm where I could go into the office and speak with my accountant and enrolled agent.

      The company told me they would help resolve a tax issue. They took $ ******* in divided payments and did nothing. They reached out to me initially . They sent dozens of questionnairesfor me to complete . One can not reach anyone in the company. They never send anything in the mail. They are frauds. I could have used this money to resolve my own issue . They are a despicable company that preys on peoples bad luck . They should be stopped from hurting more people. I take care of a very ill brother that has cancer and had a pulmonary embolus and then a stroke. In my professional life I have always tried to help patients. They should be stopped from practicing .

      I was lured into a predatory scam where I was asked to spend more and more money with no actual accounting work ever being performed. Federal Tax Law Group was running an advertisement on ******** in March of this year offering tax relief under the **** Fresh Start Initiative Forgiveness Program". I clicked on the ad, and input information regarding what I owed. The company contacted me via ******** Messenger and stated that they could reduce my tax obligation to $3,000 if I could pay it immediately. I was communicating with someone named *****, who told me that I was "a great candidate for the *** Fresh Strategy Session". He said he would be calling me via this number: **************. I rejoined the conversation in July, at which point I began speaking with an agent named ***** at the company. She asked a series of pointed questions about my finances, consulted with her team, and said that I was a good candidate for the program. At that point, she asked me to pay $650.00 to start the process of initiating my tax relief. Two weeks later, I received another call from the agent stating the company would need $7200 upfront to start the process of reducing my tax obligation. They were unable to provide any evidence of work they had done on my behalf, they misstated how much I owed for taxes (they were off by $4,000), and they had no information about specific relief programs that I qualified for. When I started questioning the agent about this process, I was immediately transferred back to the intake agent. This company is clearly not a reputable tax law organization and was simply trying to get as much money from me as possible without performing any services.
