Previous homeowners had our sewer line repair done through **** in April 2020 as a part of the inspection repairs needed for home sale. They paid about $11,000 for the work and there is a 5 year warranty on the project. - The sewer repair required cutting concrete and digging under our garage.-Since the repair, our garage has slowly starting sinking along the site of the sewer line repair until this spring it created a big enough issue that engineers said it required immediate fix to avoid risk of collapse.-We went to our home owners insurance and they denied the claim, telling us that our insurance does not cover poor workmanship.-The repair company used stated they felt it was very likely related to poor/improper compaction of the earth around the sewer repair that caused this type of damage. -When I reached out to Apex, they did respond quickly and got on the phone to discuss. Unfortunately, it was apparent on the first call that they were not going to take any accountability for the issues, claiming "they don't make that kind of mistake".-I asked for any help they could give, as this is what business insurance is for. I advised that I didn't think this reflected on their companies reputation overall but ask for them to take some responsibility.-They declined any monetary help, even though the work was still under warranty.-They sent a picture of our garage prior to the work being done and said there was a preexisting crack that was not visible to me (either at the time or in the picture).-Garage repair cost us $34,000, as they needed to place piers for structural integrity.

The customer reached out to Apex earlier this year regarding the problem.  After a project review and the review the site prior to the work being completed, it is Apex's opinion that the unstable soil conditions existed prior to the sanitary line repair.  And those soil conditions are what caused the pipe to leak, sink and become bellied in the first place.

Apex was contracted by the City of Denver for the lead reduction program. They came and replaced our water lines on Monday, 8/19 and since they left our house, our water heater hasn't been functioning properly. Before Apex came, our water heater has been in perfect working condition and was even inspected recently and found to be fine. You can see another review where someone had the exact same issue with them. We called Apex and they sent ONE OF THEIR OWN to look at the damage they did, and surprise, surprise, Apex found no wrong-doing. They broke our water heater and now want nothing to do with the consequences. They broke our water heater and now want nothing to do with the consequences. I'll be submitting formal complaints to the *******************************************, and other outlets.

On 8/1924 Apex Plumbing replaced the lead service line at *************** as part of the Denver Water Lead Replacement Program.  Apex followed protocol, flushed the lined, protected the interior and exterior of the property, and successfully replaced the service.  Everything was in working order upon leaving the property.  On 8/22/24 the homeowner called into ****** Water stating that his water heater was no longer in working condition.  Although the replacement of the service line does not affect the water heater, Apex still went and replaced the water heater at no cost to the homeowner.  No further issues occurred after Apex replaced the water heater.
