January 25th 2025 I used ****** Maps to find a public parking lot near a venue I was visiting. ******************************************************** was advertised as a place to park on ****** Maps. I believe it was posted by the same predatory tow company that took my truck within the four hours I was parked there. They would not let me recover it until noon the next day and charged $359.10 to do so. I believe this was a trap and extortion. The sign for the tow company was made of plastic and tucked into the back side of the fence on the outter perimeter. There were no signs in the middle of the lot where I parked. This business does not appear to be listed as a licensed tow company with the ********************************* in ********.

Predatory towing company. Aaliyahs Towing and Recovery, rebranded but same company and same illegal towing activity. Charged $375 for recovery of car parked with no signage around. Past reviews of ******** confirm my suspicions that they attempt to steal cars and money through their company.I asked for proof of reason for tow and they refused to provide prior to me paying.

I parked in a lot on 13th and *****, the old Quiznoes. There were other cars in the lot and work vans. The business is for sale and closed. There is no clear signage in the lot for "No Parking". I did find a sign further up 13th in the far back corner of the lot, high up on a pole. I called that number to recover my truck that was towed by A Personal Touch Recovery. I was in the lot for maybe 20 minutes, we went into City O to grab some food. A Personal Touch Recovery towed my vehicle to ********************************* $297.54. I have a receipt. I cannot find their business info online outside of a few BBB reviews and Yelp reviews. They are clearly a predatory towing company. They do not make it obvious that parking is subject to towing. They are not doing any good or helping resolve a problematic parking situation if there even is one on that block. If the building owner does not want vehicles parked in their lot, they should have clear and visible signage. Other cars and work vehicles that were cleaning adjacent buildings glass were in the lot when I pulled up. There was no indicated that we were in jeopardy. I looked for signs before I parked and because other vehicles were in the lot, I thought we were ok. I have a video of the lot.

This business has shady practices we had not been parked for 5 minutes and this business towed our vehicle damaged it and charged us over 400 to retrieve our vehicle. They have business practices that are unclear and do things that are in the best interest of humanity and are money hungry. I experienced what over ************************************************************************************ any other website. This business should not be in order and they should loose their license due to unlawful and unfair business practices. There were no signs posted stating that parking was subject to tow. We had to receive contact information from a local business. They unfortunately towed our vehicle within 5 minutes just like other people have reviewed and stated. I assure this business is practicing unlawful things and they are spying on people who park in order to tow them immediately so that way they may gain a profit. Once we went to the business to get our vehicle they priced us *************************************** the call when we called to receive their address.
