5 starsSilver Rock Builders did an amazing job for us, and we would highly recommend them for your next project. The team was very professional. They were meticulous in every detail, never rushed, very polite and always communicating well about any issues, giving great recommendations based on their experience and knowledge of building codes. ****, *****, *** and *** are an enjoyable team to work with. Silver Rock Builders recently finished building a deck and pouring a cement patio for me. I felt bullied throughout the entire process. They wanted to do things how they wanted and not how I wanted. I feel they were more interested in getting paid than they were in making sure I was satisfied. The patio and deck were well built, but I was charged quite a bit extra for miscalculations. I would not recommend them.

While we are sorry **************** felt bullied in any way, We must take exception to her review. Her deck was built beyond industry standards and fully permitted by the city of Aurora. It passed inspection by both the ************** and the Manufacturer Representative of the decking material used. The project was brought in at the contract price . **************** and her father asked us to change things that were not included in the contract at no additional charge. Unfortunately, we could not make those changes without incurring additional charges. They also asked us to build the deck in ways that would not pass city and state building codes. We had to refuse so that the permit would be issued. We also made several custom changes to her deck that were beyond industry standards. In addition, We replaced a post that had a small dent at our expense. We made every effort to comply with her and her fathers wishes at much additional cost to Silver Rock Builders. The dimensions of the cement patio were increased and of course the cost to build it increased. Silver Rock Builders absorbed most of those costs. and literally did the patio at our cost. We made 0 profit on the patio just to appease the customer. We feel this review is unfair and does not accurately depict our company and the work we do or how we treat our customers.
