      I have apparently been getting ExpressToll bills to my home address, which does not receive **** mail. I have not received any of these. I have always had the same mailing and physical address, for over 6 years, but the *** screwed that up at some point and did not use my mailing address. I rectified this in the last twelve months and have my registration and other mail sent appropriately. However, somehow ExpressToll cannot figure out my new address, even though they claim they are getting it from the ***. The only reason I know about this bill is because a post office employee hand delivered it to me as she was worried about the notice. I called Express toll when I got this message and gave them my post office box and asked if the fees could get removed. The person took my mailing address and told me she could not eliminate the fees. In the meantime, I went online to look at the statement and see what could be done to protest the fees and found that I had been sent another bill to my physical address and the fee has gone up $50. I am happy to pay tolls if I know about them. I do not understand the process by which these fees can be taken off and how I pay the toll that is owed versus fines that apparently ratchet up in a consumer-gouging manner. I need this resolved and have no idea how to do so.

      I received a bill from expresstoll for a vehicle (camping trailer) that has been parked in ,my driveway for over a year. there is zero possibility this is legitimate 1. they do not provide a dispute process from their website 2. their website and the bill provide zero image evidence also making it difficult to dispute 3. thier OCR license plate software is defective AND this is not the first false ticket I have received from them while living in ********.

      On 4/1/2025 @ 3:31pm and 6:00pm Express toll has billed me $11.80 for driving *********************** and then North 6:00pm. This is not feasible not only because I work in ****** until 4pm and I was in an accident in February. My truck was deemed a totaled loss on March 11 2025 and my transceiver has been sitting in my kitchen drawer ever since. I reached out to ExpressToll by phone and was told the only way they can help with this refund request is through email. I have sent four emails since April 20th providing them with this information, my total loss paperwork, a photo of my transceiver and other complaints I have found online with consumers stating this same problem. I have provided all this information and ExpressToll has accused me of lying, saying there is no possible for a transceiver to ping in error. I have requested them to send me proof of me, my transceiver and truck driving through their toll. They state that they cannot provide that proof because the transceiver ping is the proof and they take no photo images of persons with transceivers. They have also stated it is impossible for some to make a fraudulent/duplicate transceiver. In a time when persons can skim a credit card and make a duplicate it seems highly unlikely to me that it is implausible that someone could duplicate a toll transceiver. To get a new transceiver that is not duplicated Express Toll want to charge me $18. I have provide my transceiver has been duplicated and would like to exchange mine for free and receive a refund for the $11.80 ExpressToll runs on an automatic charge and refill of an amount. The only reason I am even aware of this error is because my autowithdrawal banking attached to this account was hacked and shut dwon.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      Thank you for your help with this. I was not notified of there refund. I sent them a message after filing this complaint with you and at that time there was still no refund or response. While I appreciate the refund I would also like my transceiver replace for free as it obviously has a duplicate somewhere. Toll express informed me that it would cost me $18 to get my transceiver replace. I do not believe that charging me for a replace is unethical.

      Ive spent several months hindered by what I only thought was just call wait times I didnt have open ended times for and to do so within the limited hours they work, or constant walls when trying to create an account online per my bills and even stopping by multiple grocery stores almost every month -each who never seemed to have stickers or transponders for me to start an account in person. My bills grew, I felt powerless and just kept trying as I could. Today that all changed when I finally was able to reach someone and then get transferred around to learn that old bills from a car my former spouse but I never owned from 16 years ago was under my old married name as well as other toll bills from before I was divorced a decade ago is apparently the reason I cant even reopen an account they closed years ago just to pay my bills with the account rate as offered in the bills Im still receiving -which then keep getting seemingly endless fees and penalties added on to them for not being paid! They want to put a hold on my registration and will not help me get this resolved and want me to additionally pay the higher rate?! Even when I offered to pay the whole thing in a lump sum at the lower rate?! This is obviously a predatory effort intended to obfuscate resolve because its too profitable for them not to. I literally just want to pay for the tolls I have driven at the account rate offered in my bills -and definitely not have a registration hold on my vehicle. Im clearly not responsible for a car in someone elses name but still being abandoned & extorted due solely to no effort or offer to correct these errors on E470s part. If this doesnt get resolved quickly in the fair manner requested, Ill waste no time filing a complaint with both the ******** as well as in handing this over to any of the local consumer investigation media producers eager to publicly call out E470 to account for, explain and correct another example of shameful toll road business tactics.

      I receive a license plate toll statement with an amount due. I have no backup, no date, time, no license plate number nothing telling me what this is for. I have asked them repeated to send me documents for this and have not received anything. I live in ******* for almost a year so don't understand where this is from ***************. I refuse to pay a statement with nothing telling me what this is for.

We are required to mail statements to the address provided by the *** where the vehicle is registered at the time of the tolls. I have also attached a breakdown of the balance due. I would like pictures, dates, time and detail prior to doing g anything. I will not take this as proper documentation because it doesn't provide proof of anything. Pictures,aes, time and

      In the past several months, I have received multiple (mail) Toll statements from this company claiming I have a certain amount due to pay, some of them have my license plate number, others dont. I have checked my account with them a multitude of times, all of which I have found to have zero charges due to pay, this can be proven by my account statement history. Under the ****-***** **** Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (****-***** Act), it is unlawful for any provider of consumer financial products or services or a service provider to engage in any unfair, deceptive, or abusive act or practice. This company is in violation of this act as on several occasions, they have claimed I have due charges without any truly being due, alongside making the process of identifying whether or not I should follow the instructions in my account or from the (physical) mail I have received from them excessively difficult and misleading, resulting in payments to the account that were fully unnecessary and didnt pay off any claimed dues, but rather just added more to my pre-paid account balance that I never owed anything from to begin with.

      I received a Fraudulent LicensePlateToll Bill in February 2025 for $2.05, I recently received a New Bill *** 3/25/2025 with a $5.00 extra late fee charge, Totally $7.05. There is NO License Plate number mentioned, NO date of Any infraction, NO description of a Location, or NO reason why this bill was levied. These fraudulent charges will quickly get outlandishly large. I respectfully ask the BBB to research this possibly foriegn, illegal company and dismiss this fraudulent bill and $7.05 charge. ODD, my copier will NOT Scan this bill to attach it to this complaint. I tried three (3) times.

      Express Toll sends me incorrect toll bills. Every time I get a new bill, I call them and they double check their cameras and see that their system made an error so they cancel my bill. Every time I call I advocate for them to double check their system before sending an incorrect bill. They told me that they will not double check until 3 errors have been made.This has happened 4 times. They failed/forgot to put me on the "sensitive list" for double checking. I have just received a letter from a debt collector, on behalf of Express Toll, trying to collect an incorrect debt. I have been told that they have put me on the "sensitive list" and so I shouldn't get any more incorrect bills, but since they failed to put me on the list (after saying they would) last time, I have little faith that I won't get another incorrect bill.I'm advocating for them to not just rely on automation but that they double check before harassing the citizens of ********.

      I have notices for one of my vehicles that my husband called and added to my account. They said that you cannot do that because it is my account. This is not true. My husband previously contacted them and added a vehicle to my account no problem but now they are saying that they can't do that. Additionally, my husband has an outstanding balance that I have spoken to somebody about previously and now they are telling me that I cannot get any information about it because I am not him but I was able to get information about it previously and thought that it had previously been resolved. Talking to this company is like talking to the ***. You will never get the same answer twice and apparently, they don't like money or want it in order to resolve your invoice.

      This complaint has to do with me being charged somewhere between $140-$150 in fraudulent charges between 09/2024 and currently ongoing. I was charged for tolls on my credit card by express toll for another car that appears to have the same temporary plate number except the other vehicle which is completely different from mine had a different expiration date. My plate had 11/08/2024 expiration date and the other vehicle which is a blue van had an expiration of 11/10/2024. I filed a police report and file a lost stolen license plate affidavit with the Arapahoe County DMV. I also confirmed with the Colorado State DMV that there is no duplicate temporary plate out there with the same number as me. I have called express toll over 5 times and finally visited them today in person on 01/24/2025. They are unwilling to refund me for all of the fraudulent transactions. I also provided them with all the documentation referenced above as well as a copy of my registration for the temporary tag and my permanent license plate. Please help me. Also Arapahoe sheriff's told me that apparently criminals take pictures of cars with temporary tags and create fictitious ones and use them in their vehicles.

      Thank you for reaching out to us,

      We apologize for the customer experience.  The customer has made several contacts with us regarding charges for a temporary plate listed on his account.  After reviewing the images it was determined they did not match the vehicle customer stated they were registered to.  In these cases we do require the plates to be reported to state motor vehicle as well as file a fraud report to the police.   This is to prevent the customer from getting more tolls in their name should the plate be continued to use.  Unfortunately, over the last couple of years there has been an increase in temporary plate fraud.  We did have to submit a ticket to our IT department to get the charges removed from the customer account to ensure they dont come back.  The customer did provide us the necessary paperwork to process this.  Customer requested to close the account so the refund will go back to his card on file ending in 375.  The credit amount the customer currently has on his account is $173.80.  It should take about 7 to 10 business days to get the refund back to customer card on file.   Unfortunately, due to the circumstances of the temporary plate fraud it does take a bit longer until we receive the necessary paperwork to process.  Customer can reach back out to us and speak to any supervisor should he have further questions on his refund.
