These scammers claim they cleaned my windows on a date when I was out of town. I was actually in ** on vacation with my family (all 15 of whom will attest that I was there). I am 80 years old, and I believe they are engaging in elder abuse.Initial Complaint

Hello,I bought a voucher via Groupon for $128 for gutter cleaning. Slide and Glide cancelled the day of the appointment via text for no reason and I have been unable to get a hold of them since. I have asked Groupon to take care of the issue but they say it is in the hands of Slide and Glide. Since this business does not answer it's phone and all mailbox voicemails for them are full I assume they are out of business. None the less, they owe me a gutter cleaning or $128. We had our windows cleaned by Slide and Glide on May 24, 2022. During the cleaning, the technicians broke a wooden valance and bracket on the interior and severely scratched another window's exterior. The technician confirmed the damages and promised resolution through their office. I spoke with their office person, ******* on the 24th who stated she would order the valance and arrange the window person to measure and order the replacement glass. I have contacted Slide and Glide numerous times (via text, calls, emails, and web inquiries), they have promised resolution but are now not responding to my contact at all. The last response was in August, which they said they'd call me back with a date/time for the installation for the repairs. I have contacted them at least 50 times via various channels.Initial Complaint

I purchased a voucher on living social as a gift for my mom. It was for outdoor cleaning of her windows. When she set up the appt they asked if she wanted to add the indoor windows for $150 more. She said yes and they asked for a credit card. That was in August. They have since fraudulently charged over $4800 to her credit card since the initial $150 payment. The phone's voice mail is full and I have been unable to reach them. This business is a fraud!Initial Complaint

Slide and Glide Window Cleaning are not good business people. I contacted them by phone and asked if they would like me to buy the Groupon or if they would honor the Groupon price without buying the Groupon to save them the money they would have to give Groupon. They said yes. After the service, I was charged twice for a total of $440. Once as Slide and Glide, the other as Window Cleaning. Why 2 names? That is super suspisious. The cost should have been a total of $150 one time. Over charging is happening with Groupon customers based on the reviews in Groupon. These same over charging complaits are showing on the Better Business Bureau website also. The comments on the BBB website talks about getting the runaround and not being called back. Window washing service was provided on 6/3/22. *************** called me to collect payment after the service was done and I agreed to a payment amount of around $275 including tip, we had used a groupon coupon for a discount. The amount charged to my card was $385. I contacted the company the next day and they agreed that this was the incorrect amount and said they would issue the refund. I was originally quoted 3 business days. The money has never been refunded and after a few answered phone calls where I was told 1 or 2 more days- the company now does not answer then I call. It has been over two weeks at this point and I have not received a refund nor can I get any accurate answers.Business Response
