I was employed by Zayo Group, LLC from October 2022 until May 1, 2025. As a disabled combat veteran, I reported multiple instances of harassment and workplace misconduct through internal channels to **************** Following these reports, I was abruptly terminated under the alleged reason of 'restructuring,' which I strongly believe was retaliatory. The termination occurred shortly after my protected disclosures regarding workplace discrimination, harassment, and unethical practices.

**** assured us that they would be able to do a fiber project with no install costs and within a short time frame. I told them that it would be a good idea to check the equipment before they quoted no install costs, but they assured me that it wouldn't be a problem. We signed the contract and waited and waited. About a week after we signed documents, I finally got in contact with someone to figure out a time frame for the change over for our fiber service. Sounded like it would be a month or so, but I never got a real solid answer. After an onsite was finally scheduled, we assumed the project was going to be moving forward. But no one showed. So they rescheduled- three times. This whole process took over a month. In the meantime, our IT company needed someone onsite to glance at the equipment (at an hourly rate) and these cancellations cost us hundreds of dollars since there was zero communication from **** about rescheduling. After being equal parts ignored and assured that this project was going to move forward, I finally find out (after over two months) that it would cost $4k-$6k to move forward and they were not going to cover it or honor their agreement of no install cost. I found this out after repeated calls, voicemails, and emails with zero response, Then I called our sales **** *** from a BLOCKED number. He picked up right away. I have never, in my professional career, had to do that to get a sales rep to return my calls. Ridiculous, unprofessional, and unacceptable. After my terrible experience with **, I spoke to his sales manager, *****. They still have not refunded the money that we paid to our IT company to work on this project. Overall this has been an expensive, wasteful, frustrating experience. ***** and ** kept talking about trying to break into the market that is dominated by ******** but based on my experience, I can absolutely see why no one wants to work with them.
