    In January of 2023, I was referred to ************************* of Quality Plumbing and Heating. In February 2023, he installed a hot water heater, followed by heating, then the ** unit. The total paid to him this was $7,700.Fast forward three months later my ** stopped working in May 2023. He told me then he had to add some freon to remedy it. Three months later in August 2023, my ** stopped working again. He claimed he fixed the issue again and said one of the coils was frozen and had to add some freon again. I did not think this is normal nor did my family members and so we got a second opinion. Per another licensed HV** and plumbing specialist, ************************* took a number of short cuts. Despite him coming out a third time there was a leaking liquid line above the hot water heater in plain sight. The Hvac specialist indicated that possibly the low charge leak system was refilled twice with 410 a refrigerant, which does not work well when topped off. Instead, it shouldve been recovered and new refrigerant be weighed in in liquid form. Although he apparently is qualified to do plumbing work **************** reused old flue pipe connectors on the water heaters, some of which were cracked, which could cause a carbon monoxide leak. This is a guaranteed leak in a short period of time and code and the manufacturer requires an expansion tank on the water heater. This was not done on my unit, nor on my mothers new water heater.To me this is clearly malpractice. **************** had three opportunities to make things right with me and he failed to do so. I am issuing a complaint here and if I cannot resolve this here Ill take **************** to court. My mother and I are going to have to shell out around $2500 to fix this as **************** has proven to be a liar or incompetent or both, whose work is unacceptable.
