    Mice chewed through the roof of the storage unit, pooped and peed all over our couch, desk, dining room chairs. Everything. There was p*** all over. And a dead mouse in the corner. No one at the facility is offering to reimburse me for anything or any months rent. I basically paid for my belongings to get ruined and no one cares or will take any responsibility

    This complaint is actually for the **************** location but they arent registered on the BBB after being in business for well over a year so Im filing it with this location to see if anyone from the company will reach out to since Ive been unable to get any communication from management for the **************** location. The issue stems from a late fee that was given to me 1 day after the proof of insurance they had on file for me expired(even though I still had active insurance- they just hasnt gotten the new proof yet). I called to find out where to send the updated insurance to and ask about the late fee charged and was told that there was a glitch in the system that should have notified me before a fee was issued but not to worry because the fee would be waived since I hadnt gotten any notice of the needed document. After then having additional late fees tacked onto the first fee for not paying, I reached out 5 times in 6 weeks to try and get a resolution, but still nothing. The local site says they have no control of fees/credits so theres nothing they can do to move the situation along. *** also been told that I cant be given a corporate number because they are personal cell phones for those managing so I will have to wait for the manager to call me. 8 weeks since the issue stated and now *** received correspondence from debt collections over the fee issues but still no communication from management regarding the situation. My rental spot and account had been closed out as of 5/8/23 without any notice of vacate form signed by me and returned to them and i had 3 weeks remaining in the month that I was paid through but no access and no credit back for the payment received for the month of May. This company has been terrible to deal with that relates to anything important because your told corporate has to handle it, but you cant reach corporate due to privacy issues and corporate wont reach out to you.
