      This hospital is chronically understaffed. Inpatients sit in ************* soaked "briefs" for extended periods of time simply because they don't have the staffing to answer the call buttons when someone has to "go" in a timely fashion and can't leave their bed to do so on their own. ****, dismissive nurses are the norm. A few excellent nurses do NOT make up for the shortage in staffing and the ethically challenged nurses on staff. Also, when was the last time anyone trained on "informed consent" at this hospital? Medical decisions being made right and left despite a patient indicating "no". The docs just note "discussed...with so-and-so...patient in agreement" even when it's not true. Honestly, this hospital needs to get it's c*** together and treat patients and their family members like human beings instead of just another case to get out the door and make money from. Where's the staff training on appropriate communications and ethical behavior in practice and documenting cases?

      Ive been here multiple times and have received the worst care you could think of. One time a very young ill advised doctor tried pressure point therapy with my back where you stick needles in the back and youre supposed to use steroids but this idiot did it with just a needle and it made my right leg lock up and put me in excruciating pain they sent me home. Last night I was passing multiple kidney stones and went in only to not be given any decent pain meds and be sent home. Im prescribed pain meds already as I have a chronic pain condition on top of passing the stones and they couldnt help me not be in agonizing pain? I waitied 2 hours for a taxi after with the kidney stone shuffles and almost had to be re admitted from the level of pain I was in.

      The care is fine, but the billing practices are ridiculous. I applied for financial assistance while I was off work for several months due to COVID pneumonia. They sat on it for 9 months and then denied it. I applied again. They argued that someone had to be supporting me. Yep-- the state. I was on energy assistance and food stamps.

      The patient is in contact with one of our financial charity associates and submitted missing documents. Her application is being reviewed. The patient also has a POC, in case she has additional questions.
