They intentionally have no ability to remove credit card and cancel automatic renewal. When you call, they intentionally redirect your call multiple times to offshore centers and refuse to refund your money. ******** that has ruined skiing in the **

i filed a refund request because my husband had ********* surgery on 7/31/24 we prepaid for the epic passes for the whole family. i only want a refund for his pass as of course with reconstructive knee surgery you cannot go back to sports until after a year of physical therapy with this kind of injury. their partner company sedgewick is awful to deal with and so is vail resort customer service representatives. i have called for the last 2 months to receive any sort of help so that way the remaining balance of his pass payment doesnt get deducted from our acct. i wanted to stop the payment before i had to go thru a big mess of even trying to get a refund. i was told i had to submit a refund request for something that hasnt even hit my bank account which is completely silly and backwards. i also find it odd that you can only add payments to your epic pass account however you cannot remove a CC number or debit card number as this company saves all that information. i have had the run around with trying to receive a refund request for his pass even though all appropriate documents by his surgeon and the hospital have been submitted to this company to show he cannot return to this type of sport right away. idk how else we could get our hundreds of dollars back even when our pass includes the epic coverage. awful company to deal with. makes me not want to even give them a dime going foward.

I purchased a 4day epic pass on sunday 9/1 at like 10pm as they kept advertising that prices would go up. Monday 9/2 was a bank holiday and when i tried calling them noone picked up. On 9/3 i called to cancel my order but was told it was outside the 24 hour window. They also said they were open on 9/2 for only 12 hours and i must have tried to contact them outside the timeframe. they connected me with upper management and I was hung up with when i began catching them up to speed. There is no reason they can not offer a refund on this.

charged me $50 for a "down payment" that I never signed up for. the website says the payment was non-refundable, but they processed the refund as soon as I threatened to call my lawyer. do not purchase the Epic pass or do any business with **** Resorts.

Not enough for a complaint, but this season, I purchased ************* Midweek pass. Under ************* Pass I was supposed to get 5-days at *****. I wasnt sure if that was any day so I contacted Customer Support and they said it was. I thought awesome and booked two nights at a nearby AirBnB so I could ski two days, Sunday and Monday. However, a couple days after the fact and two days before I leave, I get an email from chat support saying they made a mistake and my 5-day access to ***** was only midweek. I figured that would be the case before but I wanted to confirm which is why I called them, I was surprised when they told me I could use my pass.I contacted support and asked if they could rectify the situation. They said my only option was to use my ***** passes for 50% which is still more expensive than other resorts I would have gone to if I known this was the case. Employees make mistakes but this company is a multibillion dollar company and seriously cant write off one ski day?In addition I forgot to turn on auto renewal last season so I had to contact support to buy one, one person told me $450 and the other person told me $500. Support is unhelpful, doesnt make things right when they mess up. Im considering other pass options as a result.

If you Read www.vailresorts.com/about-us page, they claim their mission is to Do Right by Act with integrityalways do the right thing, knowing it leads to the right outcome.? **** doesn't offer any consistent or viable process to actually allow someone to opt out of auto renewal of ski passes & won't confirm your choice to opt out with any written confirmation, via mail or email. **** does literally nothing but dodge & evade doing the right thing for those who have injuries & paid for their medical bills AND gave money to **** for a pass "product" they can't use without much chance of getting any funds back. Serve ************* with service to create Experiences of a Lifetime .... "The only experience they provide is by being a sham of a company to deal with when it comes to getting any type of customer service in dealing with issues they created & ********** myriad of customer service people drain your energy as if they were having to pay you themselves out of pocket for your lost earnings for a product you can't use. Drive Value - (to ****'s bottom line of revenue by automatically renewing passes w/o actual written consent from the buyer. Instead **** / EPIC pass sets the default to "ON" for "auto ****** ******* is no way to delete your payment information before being charged - but you can update it with new information ). One meaning of the word vail means to lower often as a sign of respect or submission - the only thing consumers do not know is that vail and its management company expect you to submit to their annual charge of ski pass products without complaint or ability to make a change but forever until death or your credit card account ceases to exist. Another meaning of vail is to descend; lower - and any time you give money to this company through their passes it is to lower your standard for how you want to be treated for your $$. ****Buyer Beware - Unethical Automatic Charging Practics"

Awful customer experience in many ways. They make the website impossible to use and cancel your auto-renew, charge you for a pass you can't use, then refuse to refund you, rinse and repeat until the end of time. The following shows how they set you up for unintentional auto-renews that they will never refund you for, even though you don't use their product. They make accessing your account almost impossible, getting a hold of and talking to agents super difficult and limited website functionality (all by design, I'm sure). -Their website refused to log me in, even though I use a PW MGR and there's no chance it's wrong -Their website refused PW reset -Their website locked me out -I called the phone number the website direct me to, the phone number was no longer in service (really, you can disconnect a phone number, get a new one, but can't update your website? hmmm)-I had to call a new number I was redirected to then had to spell my name slowly and clearly 4x before it was understood (I have no accent)-Then once I was mysteriously granted access with the same email account, the website does not allow you to remove your credit cards on file, so I had to contact an agent AGAIN. All of this to simply make sure I don't get another unintentional auto-charge. This is why I got auto-charged last year, that they refused refund...they make it VERY difficult to cancel. Additionally last year I got 7 notices I could not be charged for my auto-renew because both of my cards on file were expired...nope, not true, they charged me anyways. Fun times. And **** has equally bad reviews.

About EPIC Pass:Pricing for Epic pass might be good but there is something inhuman about pass owner. Death in family is not good enough reason to cancel Epic pass. We are supposed to go skiing on the day of funeral as long as family members (no matter who - parents, spouse, children) do not live under the same roof with us!

The worst customer service I've ever dealt with. The mobile app didn't work even one time. The hard copy never came. I didn't get one ski trip out of it.
