Midas at *********, ******** location ******************************************** They charged me $100 upfront for the diagnostic test and said it would be applied towards my overall bill had I completed my work with them but would have been charged this regardless if I did not. So naturally when they told me I needed a new set of spark plugs and ignition wires I left my car with them to complete the work. My car was running again! This is good because I moved out to **************. I started having small issues accelerating but thought nothing of it as it is a *************************************************************** the following morning to a ********* next door to work so I could leave it there and walk to work. The only Midas locations in my new hometown were all permanently closed. ********* called me to inform me one of my ignition wires was not plugged in, instead it was laying across my exhaust and had burned through. I had them complete the work for me. This cost me another $370.03 that I absolutely DID NOT need to pay for since I had already paid to have this work done by an apparently negligent mechanic. I called the store to speak to the manager and again, I am not car expert, I ended up going back in to ********* to have the mechanics speak to this manager. Who then offered to reimburse me the $139.98 for the ignition wire but did not charge you for a diagnostics test so thats the best they would offer. I called corporate. 1 week later I still have not heard from anyone. When I called corporate to follow up on the case number I opened. While I continuously repeated how this work was JUST DONE and it should NOT have been the result of my check engine light. I would not have had to pay had the work at this shop been completed correctly the first time! NOT TO MENTION, not a single person had called me since I called a week ago but apparently the higher up management decided they would only pay back for the ignition wires.

************************* came to our shop on 05/31/23 , the car was badly misfiring , after the repair the car is driving with no misfire what so ever . and she traveled with the car across the country from Colorado to ************** , and after almost 2 and half months , she called us from a ********* shop claiming that the car is having same issue , and she claimed that the shop had to redo the spark plug and wires , after talking to the manager he said that is not true he had to replace only one wire and as we can see in their Diagnostic report , it says that one wire was left OFF LAYING ON THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD , if that was the case when the car left our shop it will misfire immediately and the customer would not be able able to do across the country trip  , Despite all this We offered the customer the refund for wire replacement cost , that she agreed to but changed her mind and decided to file a complaint  . Now after reviewing the report of the repair shop the  refund offer is not available , because there is ABSOLUTELY no way the car can runs fine for 2 and half months and made cross the country trip , all the wires were properly installed when the car left our Shop .

    Thank you .
