When I retained, they took retainer immediately. When I closed my matter, it has taken actual months and I still have not been given my refund. I also see some over billing. Crazy charges for 10 minutes of email exchanges. I wont be back.

Were sorry you werent satisfied with our services. Your matter was placed in line for closure precisely 30 days ago, and we follow a thorough process to ensure accuracy rather than *******. While there was a slight delay, your refund is being processed. Regarding billing, the time documented reflects the actual work performed, which was more than 10 minutes of emails.Review fromGail A

1 starMy first conversation with them Baker Law Group was impressive. Unfortunately Baker Law did not do what they said they would. There was continuous change in attorneys, I was charged for the review of my case each time. There was little to no communication. I never knew what was happening with my case.There was failure to assert proper claims and asserted incorrect claims, they did not protect my interest in the case. They continually invoiced me for who knows what.I have made several request for for Baker to communicate with the opposing side, they did not . My case probably would have been settled already. Now I need to get a new attorney so they can clean up this mess of a case.Review fromSarah M

1 starNever felt so completely scammed in my life took over $3k for a few emails and calls and did not represent me at all. Told me They could definitely help me but after I sent the $4250 they did nothing but charge every possible way they could.. definitely do not recommend this company to my worst enemy!!! Don't get taken.find a firm who wont charge you to decide they actually cant do anything for you. Wish I would Have seen reviews before hiring. And if any retainer is left youll have a heck of a time getting it back dont get scammed run!!!!Review fromMark S

1 starFraudulent, unethical & unscrupulous. Does not embody their own "About Us" statement of providing superior customer service and equipping client to make informed decisions.More interested in creating billable hours when there was no information or executed contract to bill hours for. An invoice was created based on a ***** minute consultation call.Charged a retainer fee and considered that a retainer without the accompanied DocuSign executed contract. Who does that? Outline of events: 2/9/24 Consult with attorney.Only high-level situational information was shared;no hard details or information warranting any steps for further discovery was offered until a retainer agreement was signed.My daughter advised the attorney she would review the retainer contract with our family and follow up. 2/12/24 Follow up call to attorney with questions prior to executing retainer contract. Calls go un-returned.My daughter chooses to seek resources elsewhere based on no return calls. 2/13/24 @ 9:07am: Law firm is contacted to advise we are seeking alternative resources and to process the retainer amount held in trust of $2500 to be refunded in full. 2/13/24 @ 6pm: A return email is sent to law firm advising we have previously conveyed not moving forward with retainer. 2/14/24 9:53am: Additional calls to law firm reiterating we have not executed any contract and going elsewhere, another inquiry requesting refund of $2500.Billing department states they have to present to the owner, ****** Baker, for consideration. *We inquire what/why consideration? We reiterate no information was provided to move forward with the case, nor was there a contract. 2/15/24 12:04pm Follow up call to law firm re status of refund. Goes unanswered.2/19/24 multiple phone calls:law firm states billable hours created in amount of $420 Bill for a consult call? This info should be disclosed on their website.Beware of unethical behavior & falsely billing a client they never retained.Review fromJe H

1 starAgree with Nik *** review below. Reporting ****** Baker and *************************. ************************* is expecting a child with his wife and tried to solicit a date with his client. He promised and we agreed upon a specific fee amount so that he could settle the case for ** against the defendant, then he reneged on his promise and kept charging ** more and more money all while not following through with the settlement agreement between ** and the other party's counsel. It has been a nightmare as we were fully planning on representing ourselves in this matter and should have. They can NOT keep associate attorneys because of their fraudulent behavior and sexual harassment of women in the office. STAY FAR AWAY FROM ***************************** AND *************************.
