      I moved to an apartment complex 6 ******* *** have always paid 25 dollars on water & ***** for trash & this months trash bill came back to a double 45 something. I called customer ************** couldn't give me an explanation to why my bill increased, 4 days later i received an email stating that it increased due to their fuel & labor increasing as well, but their service has been slacking because their driver missed multiple pick up ********* caused for our containers to overflow with garbage. That it isnt our fault, it's their. I shouldn't have to pay more for an error on their end.

      As mentioned in our original email:

      Trash is a per unit fee which means total provider charges for trash services are allocated equally to each unit.  Said charge will vary month to month based on fluctuations in provider charges.  ***** services were not very different for current billing period, provider rates are higher due to increases in fuel prices, labor expenses, and solid waste disposal fees.

      We have confirmed this directly off the provider website for the following information that also correlates to rate increase:

      Changes in monthly rates are generally based on changes to the Consumer Price index (CPI), fluctuations in fuel prices,increases in labor expenses, and solid waste disposal fees.       ***** we understand you mentioned there were a few times the service was delayed and required additional pickups, the master Meter Invoice (MMI)is not implying that there were not any additional pickups during this service period. This is more in line with the mentioned rate increase above.

      I live in an apartment complex and my water, trash and sewer bill just keeps rising each month. My children and I are gone for almost 10 to 12 hours a day and so we are barely home. I am up to $500 a month for services. The apartment complex doesnt charge everyone living there these fees only those moved in the last 3 years. Why am I being charged for what others use and not just what I use. This is ridiculous and I am paying this on top of the high rent rate I pay. This is absolutely outrageous and as a tenant in ********** I am *********** fair prices for utilities and when I lived in a single family home I never paid this amount in the 9 years I lived there. I am a single mother on a lower income and cant keep affording these rates and amounts. This has got to stop. Also I am to receive a bill showing the amount I use and what the rate for those units I am being charged and that never is down. Stop charging so much to people when they dont use that much.

      Thank you for reaching out to YES Energy Management regarding your high consumption and cost.  

      While researching the account we do show since about the 7/2023 statement water usage continues to increase reaching a high for 11/2023 statement. However, for the 12/2023 statement something changed in the unit for the water consumption to drop by almost half the previous month and fall more inline with the usage of 7/2023 and prior. If you had any kind of running wasted water taking place that would explain the higher consumption and cost.Hand in hand with that, if you had any type of maintenance, that would explain the drop.  Or if the overall habits in the home changed, could also show a larger decrease.

      Utility Consumption and Cost Current Month Prior Month ****************** Profile Utility feature is not available at this time.The Yes Energy Management website for the condo Owners in Paradiso in ****** now does not allow allow the Consumption and Cost Profile on its website. Why not? What are they trying to hide?

      Everything everyone else has said negative, I agree. I live alone, just me, my water/sewer total for almost 8 years was $10. Now the last 3 months since changing to YES Energy, my totals have been $28-31 and I was out of town for a week one month.

      This company took over my apartment complex in **********, **. and ABSOLUTELY, ARBITRARILY AND WITH GREAT GREED, increased water fees/rates by about 33%. Explain to me how living in a community for 10 mos. with an average water bill of about $100 maximum, goes up to $145 in a season where water usage typically slows down (that would be autumn)????? They will supply the standard script of "well, it's based on water usage of the community, divided by the sq. footage of the apartment and number of occupants." But that was the case before and SUDDENLY, BILL INCREASE! BOOM! $&%$ YES ENERGY MANAGEMENT, they are RIPPING people off.

      While we dont have enough information to go over your direct concerns, we can confirm for you that YES Energy Management is billing based on the lease agreement under the Utilities Addendums of your lease with the property management. Based off the description you provided it is a RUBS billing method but without more information, we are not sure of the timeframe of the statement vs. the service dates and master meter invoices in question which could be the reason if increase as you mentioned.  If you would like to call YES Energy Management ***************** we would be happy to go over this with you.

      Yes Energy has admitted to "estimating" our total usage on a monthly basis for some time and are price gouging certain units at our condominium while others pay an orders of magnitude less. Our condo uses Yes Energy as a third party ****** where each unit just pays electricity usage. I'm being charged upwards of $450+/month while some neighbors in peer units are paying $35-45/month. My daily usage when I'm out of town (and all appliances/electronics are unplugged) averages **** kwH per day, which averages more than the usage that other units are being billed while there! And the usage while out of town fluctuates, indicating it's not an internal issue but a meter issue.Yes Energy told me my meter worked fine when something clearly is wrong and refuse to remedy the situation or fix the bills. This is a scam company that rips customers off. They are not honest in that they ESTIMATE billing at times and do not indicate as such in their bills. They let some units pay disproportionally more than other units.There is no physically possible way that units without any appliances running (other than an energy efficient fridge that has been measured at only using a small amount of kwH per day) are using more than other units where people are occupying the unit the whole month.

      This company is a fruad I believe and should be prosecuted unde **** laws. On a house a relative moved into they say the electric multiplier is one (1) but actually charge times 2 instead. She has never had bills this high anywhere. I have ask her to contact the home owner, renter to be removed from this so she can go with ******* ************** where her bill will not only be accurate but she can see what the real charges are. Her recent electric bill was over 700 dollars for one month. Because they double charged her it is twice what it should be. You woke up a F****** lion.

      This is a scam yet it is somehow still allowed to operate. My guess is because it's probably mak*** a lot of people money by nickel and dime-*** residents and then giv*** kickbacks to our county officials. Just another example of corrupt organizations slowly bleed*** the work*** class into completely and total peonage. God have mercy on our souls... and our "estimated" utility bills.
