    On August 29th 2024 I bought an *** for my 2004 VW R32 3.2 VR6 from "THE ECU Connection" for $517.07 on ***** It took them a month to deliver the *** and I received it on September 27th 2024. My mechanic and computer programmer instaled it on October 4th and immediatly informed me the *** was completely dead and useles. Reguardless of what they tried, the *** was defective and completly dead. I immediatly informed The ECU Connection via **** email about this fact. They replied (on Oct 4th) it should just be instsalled and function. I again informed them it was not working and was ******* the mean time as I work ******* hours a week, and I went to *********** so a few weeks go by without them contacting me. The next time I herd from them was on October 22nd when I filed through **** for a return or a refund and they immediatly replied "This is not how you ask for an exchange" and closed the request/case. This was the last time they contacted me.Since then I sent numrous requests and correspondences for either a refund, exchange for a working unit or to have this unit fixed. The ECU Connection never returned any of my inquires since Oct 22nd. I told them I was open to resolving this issue but they have not replied. When I got back to the *** I tried to file another case but **** wouldn't allow it since The ECU Connection closed it. Next I filed with ****** but I was informed I was ouside the 30 day window from product delivery and they closed the case.**************** my bank said they couldn't do anything because I used my checking account and not a credit card and closed the case. Since then I got another unit from another source that worked and now I just want a refund. I will be sending the unit back to The ECU Connection. Please BBB can you hlep me get a refund for this defective ***. I'm out $517.07 with this defective unit plus the price of a second one I had to buy that worked. Attached are the screen shots.

    500$ paid on November 8th 2023, I sent them a car part for repairs and they had it for 2 months with very little communication and no success. I returned the part for another, per the companies warranty, with no success still. At that point they seemed willing to work with me on a a third part, but still no progress as weeks went on. Finally I canceled the order and requested a refund and my original part back. They have only answered the phone one, maybe two times in the two months since. They either blatantly dont answer the phone or make excuses for why things arent handled. Ive been nothing but respectful and patient this whole time but I need that refund urgently.

    In June 2023 I ordered a new computer for a vehicle ($1,000) but received a used, non-functioning one. I sent it back on July 3rd but they never refunded the money. They blocked my phone number so I used someone elses and they answered one time stating they were moving locations and would get back with me. Never could get in touch again in the last five months. **** Tracking # ********************** shows it was received July 7th.

    On August 4,2022 I ordered an ECU (engine control unit) with two keys for my **** **** Ranger 2.3 truck thru **** from the ECU Connection. Received the unit on August 11, 2022. I had the two new keys cut to fit the ignition of my truck. The first ECU as well as the other two I received from the ECU Connection would not start the truck. I replaced the third ECU with the original ECU and the truck starts and runs. I would like a full refund of the $178.99 I paid. I have called the ECU Connection on ****, *****, *****, *****, and *****. Thank You

    I purchased a computer programming service 139.00$ back on 8/30/22. That service was to do programming work on my **** SUVs computer I mailed them two **** expedition SUV computers they received those on 9/13/22. There competitors offer that same service all in withen 14 days ******** are back in ur hands. ECU connections has lued to me and taken 2 months and as of today the shop my SUV is in down in ******************* is ****** off and I'm doing what my auto repair shop has asked me to do file a complaint. ECU connections has taken me the repair shop hostage and it's beyond acceptable. We need help the service I purchased on there website is called PATs deleat service 139.00$ I pre payed it, and mailed them two pcms my SUVs computers 2 months ago and have been lied to promised this and that. The owner of my mechanic shop is ************************* he owns *********************** in ********** ****** there phone # call ask for ****** he can tell you more. I either want my money back and my computers or the service completed ASAP thank you.

    These guys advertise that they have the modules and ready to ship. Right before the promised time they cancel the order and wasted three weeks for absolutely nothing. In results we have an upset customer that wanted to *** us for their false promises and we had to buy he customer New ECU to fulfill their fake promises costed me over $2K.

    ***************** AUTO AND LIGHT TRUCK IS MY BUISNESS.WE ORDERED A REBUILT COMPUTER FOR A 2012 VW,ORDER NUMBER **************.RECIEVED IT (TOOK MUCH LONGER THEN PROMISED) AND WE NOW COME UP WITH TOTTALY DIFFERENT CODE.CALLED THEM *************),WHERE TOLD THEY KNOW WHAT TO DO,SEND IT BACK,WHEN THEY GET IT THEY WILL SEND BACK IN 2 DAYS.IT HAS BEEN 6WKS,TRIED CALLING,EMAILING,NO RESPONCE.WE AND THE CUSTOMER ARE NEEDING A RESPONCE.
