    On Nov 18, 2024 a technician from Olson came to repair our furnace. He changed the filter, took a check on $120 from my husband, and left. Furnace worked for 5 minutes, and died. My husband called Olson again, and on Nov 19 another tech arrived. He said he THOUGHT one of the switches went bad. He replaced the switch. I paid with a credit card $******. Furnace worked for about 5 minutes after the tech left, and it ******* husband called Olson again, but nobody wanted to answer the phone.We called 2 other companies, each of them stated that the furnace needed to be replaced, because it was beyond repair.We had the furnace replaced, NOT by Olson.On Nov 26, 2024 I filed a dispute with ********, about the $****** that I paid for totally NOTHING. I received a provisional credit to that amount, and ******** contacted Olson several times, giving them a chance to dispute my claim. They never did. I received full amount of ****** credit back to my account from ********, since they never heard a word from Olson. And today we received a demand to pay $****** from Olson. Since the furnace was non-repairable and had to be replaced, I would love to see the $120 paid by check refunded as well.

    We take great pride in ensuring that our customers are taken care of. We are disappointed that we were not given the opportunity to properly address these issues regarding the refund as we no contact from the credit card company or customer requesting the refund. We certainly want to ensure that the customers are made whole, and with that in mind we will be writing off the outstanding balance of $236.14 as an act of good faith.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I understand that we will not recover the $120 paid to Olson by check, and I am writing that off as a price for hiring Olson to do a job they poorly qualified for.
