      I had pain in my right foot/heel area and was recommended to give the Good Feet store a try. On 09/27/24 I went to the Good Feet store hoping arch support would reduce my pain. I first asked the sales representative if they sold shoes, thinking this may be a good option for me. She indicated that they did not. Which I found interesting since there were shoes in the store. I then asked if I could purchase one insert. She again said no that I needed to get the 3 step process inserts. The sales representative had me try the inserts. When walking with the inserts in they caused increased pain in both of my feet. She assured me that this was normal and it would take time to retrain my feet. It was not until we were waking up to the counter that she told me the cost was $1,500. I did not feel comfortable at this point but my pain outweighed my better judgement. I purchased the inserts and followed the directions for the 3 step process for 7 days. The entire time both of my feet hurt worse. I went to a foot specialist on 10/4/24 who diagnosed me with bursitis in my right heel. That day, only 7 days after buying the inserts from the Good Feet store, I brought the inserts back to get a refund. I approached the sales representative that sold me the inserts, with my medical boot on my foot, and said that I could not wear the inserts and I was now under a doctors care. It was then that she told me that this company does not give refunds, only store credit, even as short as a week after purchase or for medical reasons. I am now under medical care and in a boot for the next several weeks. After not using the Good Fert inserts the pain in my healthy foot is now gone, which I am grateful for.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 22386240, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      I was told that once I have accepted this resolution I will be given a full refund. I appreciate the Good Feet Store for working together to get this resolved.
