Hi BBB,
***************************** renewed her subscription to Interweave Knits Order (#******) on 2/7/2023. We sent her an email last 4/18/2023 stating the delivery schedule set by the publisher. We also informed her to notify us if there will be a problem with her subscription and we will take care of it. We did not hear from ******** regarding her concern. We are a subscription agency, order was processed with the publisher and payment was also forwarded to them. A follow-up was made with the publisher and we are still waiting for their reply. With this, we issued a full refund at our expense since they are not refunding us.
We are sending a screenshot of the refund. Hoping you can close this feedback as we already resolved the issue.

I am rejecting this response because: No refund has been received my me. The file they sent was just a text someone keyed. There is no proof that a refund has been issued. I have double checked with both PayPal and Discover and they show no pending credits from this business. My negative rating on them stands.

***************************** filed for chargeback with PayPal on Oct. 2, 2023. With this, we resolved the issue by issuing a refund. Attached are the screenshots showing that we issued a refund on Oct. 7, 2023 to close the dispute. PayPal have debited $25.17 also from our account. She should check with PayPal regarding the dispute. We can no longer issue a refund since money is no longer with us. We already explained this to *****************

On January 8, 2023 i sent a check for $116.07 to Magazine Circle for a subscription to People Magazine. The check was not cashed until February 23, 2023 but I still have not received a single copy. When I try to call all i get is a recording asking for my name, phone number, email, and reason for calling. Still have no response from themBusiness Response

This is regards with the complaint filed by *******************. Upon receiving your notification, we sent an email to the customer informing him that we have processed his renewal to People magazine - Order #******. Subscription is active and being serviced. First issue is set to start with March 27, 2023 issue.
We attached herewith screenshots of his account details and schedule of delivery from the publisher. Please note that it usually takes **** weeks for first issue to start as stated on the order confirmation email. We are seeking your assistance to close this complaint and we will directly *********************.

I placed a renewal order for my subscription to ********** Magazine in July 2022. The renewal should have started September 2022. When I didn't receive my Sept issue, I called the magazine, and was told that they had no such renewal order for my subscription, and that I had been scammed by being diverted to a third party magazine site. It was not obvious to me that I had been diverted to another site and that I was not placing the renewal order with the magazine directly. In addition to scamming me by not handling the order as a renewal (which would have meant uninterrupted service), I discovered that this this third party site charged me $22 when the magazine charges $18 for a one-year renewal. The bottom line is that I was diverted to a scam web site, the order was not handled as a renewal, and I was overcharged. I want my money back.To make matters worse, I filed a **** dispute for the charge. "Magazine Circle" told me that they cannot do a refund until I release the dispute. **** tells me that that is a lie, and that the merchant can do a refund at any time.Business Response

Hi Better Business Bureau,
This is in response to the complaint submitted by *************************. She voluntarily placed an order from our site https://subscribe-renew.com/ on 7/25/2022. We sent her an order confirmation email on 7/25/2022 15:55:18 stating that first issue will start in **** weeks as the publisher will process the order and include her subscription on their production schedule. A 2nd confirmation email was sent to her on 8/1/2022 12:01:19, informing her that order was placed from Magazine Circle, LLC. We did not received any replies nor inquiries from *****. She then filed a chargeback reason given was Item Not Received. We already forwarded the payment to the publisher, subscription is active and being serviced. We are a magazine subscription agency and authorized to process subscriptions for over **** publishers.
We shall go ahead and issue a full refund at our expense since publisher is not refunding us.

Hi BBB,
Contrary to *************************** claim, we have cancelled her order and issued a full refund on Sept. 9, 2022. We sent her an email on Sept. 10th and 29th informing that a refund was completed through her credit card. She should check it with her bank.
We are a magazine subscription agency and all our orders are placed on our site online voluntarily by the customers. We are authorized by magazine publishers to process subscriptions and renewals on their behalf. Attached are screenshots that shows the refund details and emails sent to ***********

Hi BBB,
This is regards with the complaint of *************************. She filed a credit card chargeback for her magazine order on Sept. 8, 2022. We immediately processed the refund as you will see on the note that the "The case was closed in the buyers favor based on the info provided.." It was deducted in our account on Sept. 12, 2022. The money is no longer with us but with her bank. Nothing on our record that shows it is till pending or under review. Please close this chargeback as payment is no longer with us. We even paid it from our own funds since publisher is not going to issue a refund for cancelled order.
