On October 20, 2023, Better Business Bureau contacted Moving Solutions LLC concerning the following advertising claims found on its website https://topmovingsolutions.com/denver/. 

• Moving Solutions LLC’s website advertises all types of moving services in Colorado. BBB was unable to locate an active Colorado PUC license or business registration.


• The USDOT number on the website is a Broker license for DCZ LOGISTICS INC in Chicago, IL.


• 100% Satisfaction guarantee. BBB was unable to locate the terms and conditions for this policy.


• “Clear pricing. Professional furniture protection at no extra charge. No hidden fees!” BBB has received multiple complaints that speak about changes in the pricing upon the time of the move.  


• “Local and Long Distance moving. We specialize in multiple services; our specialty is local moves; whether a homeowner or a business.”


• “AWARD WINNING SERVICE” 


• “CUSTOMER SATISFACTION IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY!” 


• “RELIABLE. EFFICIENT. CAREFUL.” 


• “YOUR BEST LOCAL MOVER”

Advertisements should be truthful, sincere offers to sell. Advertisers have a responsibility to have substantiation for all claims made and should be able to provide that substantiation upon request. All advertising that may mislead or deceive consumers should be avoided.  

When using the term “warranty” or “guarantee” the advertiser should clearly and conspicuously include a statement that the complete details of the warranty can be seen prior to the sale which could include putting it on the seller’s website. Advertisers should disclose any material limitations on a "satisfaction guarantee" or "money-back guarantee" and define, for consumers, the meaning of claims such as "lifetime guarantee." 

BBB reached out to Moving Solutions LLC to request substantiation, modification, or discontinuation of its advertising. On October 20, 2023, the business responded stating that would update its business website. BBB offered to meet with the business to provide additional insight on the claims brought up to them, but after a couple more responses, the business became unresponsive.

Pattern of Complaints

On October 20, 2023, Better Business Bureau recognized a pattern of consumer complaints filed against Moving Solutions LLC, also known as Top Moving Solutions LLC, website https://topmovingsolutions.com/denver/. Consumers allege issues with service and billing. Consumers allege being provided a quote for their move and then overcharged once the move is taking place. Consumers also allege their household goods were mishandled and damaged. 

BBB notified Moving Solutions LLC of the complaint pattern. On October 20, 2023, the business responded disagreeing with the identified pattern. BBB offered to meet with the business to discuss the concerns brought up to them, but after a couple more responses, the business became unresponsive.

On October 20, 2023, Better Business Bureau was alerted to a business operating as Moving Solutions LLC also known as Top Moving Solutions LLC, website https://topmovingsolutions.com/denver/. 

BBB visited the business website and found that the DOT number listed there is for a broker license for a business called DCZ LOGISTICS INC dba Moving Solutions located in Chicago, IL.  

A business registration search with the Colorado Secretary of State provided a record for Moving Solutions LLC showing that it was administratively dissolved on April 31, 2005, as well as a record for Top Moving Solutions with delinquent status since June 1, 2021. 

A search with the Colorado Public Utilities Commission provided a license for Moving Solutions LLC with a Revoked status as of May 15, 2014. The search did not provide any results for Top Moving Solutions or DCZ Logistics. 

BBB visited the reported business addresses and found that they are a post office and a virtual office space.  

BBB reached out to Moving Solutions LLC to request additional information regarding their licensing, ownership, and location. On October 20, 2023, Moving Solutions LLC responded stating that they operate under multiple DOT numbers and are a part of a conglomerate. BBB offered to meet with the business to discuss the concerns brought up to them, but after a couple more responses, the business became unresponsive.
