      8 years of a fitness business leasing a commercial space from Maxx Properties:-It was discovered after signing the lease and during the build-out that Maxx Properties leased this space to us without the city even knowing this was a space to be leased. There was a fitness studio in this space for year(s) prior to. Yet...we had to get it zoned for one and bring the space completely up to code / ADA.-1,494 emails to them ********************** 8 years of continuous/consistent building issues, terribly hurting our business -New manager every year - extremely poor communication (days, weeks, months, years to address continuous/consistent serious building issues) -IF something is addressed, they put a band-aid on it. One of the most recent leaks (August 2024), was caused from a contractor/maintenance guy putting duct tape in an area to seal it. Duct tape. -Many (understatement) leaks - having to close the business down on multiple occasions -Damage from all the leaks requiring us to get new gym mats, multiple (understatement) new ceiling tiles, ceilings to be fully repainted twice & repaired many times, mold smells, mats bubbling (liability), constantly having to work around ladders, dehumidifiers, huge trash cans full of water, etc. (liability), wet floors (liability), debris falling from the ceiling (liability), etc.-Sewer gas smells / issues - having to close the business down on multiple occasions. After the most recent issue (August 2024), we opened the business to f**** on our equipment and mats.-AC not working / issues - high 80's & 90's in the space - having to close the business down on multiple times -Heat not working / issues - low 30's, 40's, & 50's in the space - having to close the business down on multiple occasions -Parking issues - interrupting our business -So much lost business

      POOR COMMUNICATION!! I canceled my move-in for a property they own going on 3 weeks ago! Insurance said they needed a verbal confirmation from the regional manager in order to go ahead and process my refund.Contacted this company multiple times by email and phone about calling the insurance company so I can get my money back. Spoke to ***** multiple times and he said he would send an email and call right after he sent the email, obviously he didnt because the insurance contacted me and said they have NOT received anything from the regional manager. NOW THEY WONT ANSWER THE ***** NOR EMAIL ME BACK.

      Worst building/management ive ever dealt with in my entire life do not under any circumstances rent from these people.

      Maxx Properties at ***** Tower has committed violation of the ******** revised statue section ********* - Prohibition on retaliation against its renters that try to get management to do there job properly and maintain an apartment complex up to code.

      NO STARS if I could. Worst experience with the Maxx ********************** I tried calling and left numerous messages- even got some emails. No response or just passed around. Their location near SLOANS LAKE is falling apart yet they increased my rent over 20%-- but not a single upgrade.. Constant manager turnover with no updates to the residents. We have had cars damaged, pet f**** everywhere, cigarettes everywhere, parking lot damaged but still charging us while they "fix" it. Years ago they had a great manager who was responsive, however she used to say her hands were tied and management would not give her any budget for ANY upgrades. They went months without refilling the dog bags-- f**** everywhere. Now the managers don't respond. unless you get them face to face which they say nothing they can do. They ask us to sign up for text alerts but never send any. We never get updates. The property is falling apart. The only positive is their manaintance man ****** is nice and responsive.

      This was the worst rental experience I ever had in my life The ************** is the worst apartment complex ever , since the first day I moved in I wanted out and they been shady and always have a excuse for any and everything they models are so beautiful and the apartments they give you are a h*** hole I wouldnt recommend this property to my worst enemy and the front office staff are the worst please get new people worst management ever ! I wish I can give negative stars .. I contacted corporate many times talked to a few people and no one ever gets back no one ever follows up its really sad and frustrating! Living here for 13 months Im just glad its my last month i prayed for this day !
