I was parked at this ********** **************** while I got a bite to eat sec later a.p.s. Called in my car to elite towing to have it towed, and impounded, and told me I had to leave. I had been sitting in the parking lot for literally 2 minutes. He then walked up To multiple other cars and did the same thing. It seems like a pretty aggressive towing situation

Dear Mr. *************** apologize for the manner in which you were treated. Due to some issues that the owner of the restaurant at the location you visited has experienced, they have asked that our guard not allow cars to remain parked in the lot unless the vehicle occupants are inside the restaurant.  I will speak with the guards and ensure that they understand when customers, such as yourself, are at the restaurant for legitimate reasons that they be allowed to remain parked in the lot until they have completed their meal.

Again, we sincerely apologize and appreciate your taking the time to inform us of this situation so that we can continue to improve our services and our guard interactions with the public.

Poor working conditions- no bathroom, no air conditioning, no electricity to plug in equipment needed to complete the job requirements. Hired me for full-time employment and didn't have "a site" for me for 3 weeks and left me 'hired but with no paycheck' to pay my bills. When I spoke up and even though I worked hard and showed up to every shift, they elected to fire me for legal substance use and is withholding my last check until I sign the firing form forcing me to sign under duress which is illegal in *******. They now refuse to answer any communications from me to find a solution. My only option is now to file a civil action suit. I want to share this also so no one else goes through this situation.

      Response to Complaint:
We appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention. We strive to maintain a positive and respectful working environment for all employees, and we take any complaints seriously. I would like to address the issues youve raised to provide clarity and resolve any misunderstandings.
      1. Working Conditions: Regarding the concerns about the lack of bathroom facilities, air conditioning, and electricity, we've communicated that there are portable restrooms available at the site and the locations. Additionally, we provided electrical outlets for workers to charge their equipment or use car batteries. We make sure to inform all staff working at our construction sites about the potential weather conditions they may encounter. Additionally, we permit employees to use the heating or air conditioning in their personal vehicles to ensure their comfort and well-being
      2. Employment Status and Pay: Employees are compensated for all hours worked. However, if no work hours are available, Advanced Professional Security does not provide payment for periods in which an employee does not work. As communicated during your interview, the role at *********************** was a part-time position and not intended to be a permanent, full-time opportunity. After the conclusion of your contract with **********, you were offered other positions, including one closer to your home at *********, but we understand you were unable to accept due to distance.
Regarding your final paycheck, you were compensated for all hours worked, as well as all accrued vacation hours. These funds were direct deposited into your account on December 12, 2024. As outlined in both the conditional offer letter and the uniform form, both of which you signed, the following condition applies: Upon separation from the company, you are required to return all company property within 24 hours, including but not limited to uniforms, boots, badges, and keys. The cost of any unreturned items may be deducted from your final paycheck, up to the maximum extent allowed by law. The form that was signed by your mother, confirms that all uniforms loaned to you were returned.
      3. Drug Test and Termination: We made it clear from the outset that passing a drug test was a condition of employment. Despite multiple reminders and requests, you did not complete the test in a timely manner. When we received the results, we followed the necessary steps and ultimately made the decision to terminate your employment. While we understand that this may have been a difficult situation for you, our decision was based on the need to adhere to our company's policies.
      4. Firing Form and Withholding Pay: There was no firing form required for your termination. Our records indicate that all uniforms were returned, and your termination was processed in accordance with company procedures. Regarding the withholding of your paycheck, please note that final payments are subject to compliance with all company policies and the return of company property.
      5. Communication and Resolution: We acknowledge that communication could have been clearer during this process. We attempted to maintain open lines of communication with you, but we understand that there were misunderstandings, particularly regarding your concerns about the drug test and the status of your employment. We have attempted to resolve these issues, but we are sorry that the outcome was not as you expected.
We take your feedback seriously and will continue to evaluate our processes to ensure that all employees are treated fairly and professionally. We sincerely regret that this situation ended in a manner that was unsatisfactory for you, and we hope this explanation clarifies our actions.
We wish you the best in your future endeavors and hope that you find a resolution to your concerns.
      Sincerely,

      ******* ******
