      Our business has had an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience with Allstream. Over the past six months, we have made repeated attempts to cancel our telephone service contract, both through certified mail and email, as well as by phone. Despite these efforts, Allstream consistently claimed to have no record of our cancellation requests. Each time we contacted them, we were told our previous communications did not exist or were never receivedeven in cases where certified mail was returned to us uncollected. Emails were ignored, and we often found ourselves starting over with every call, re-explaining the situation to different representatives with no resolution. The level of service has been unacceptable. We even paid early termination fees in good faith, only to be told afterward that our cancellation was not processed and that we were still under contract. Faced with this ongoing stonewalling, we ultimately chose to pay out the remainder of the contract just to be done with the ordeal. It felt like we were talking to a wall. There was no accountability, no follow-up, and no resolution. This pattern of poor service and disregard for our communications has been consistent and deliberate. We are not seeking a refund at this time, but we do wish to formally warn other businesses and consumers about our experience. We believe Allstream's business practices in handling cancellations and customer service are deceptive and should be investigated. We strongly urge potential customers to consider alternative providers.

      Over billed for more than four months and wouldn't release my account to me. **** went from $1200 per month to over $4500 per month. This $4500 was for a regular land line and three other numbers and internet. What a scam. Do not do business with them. Allstream or Zayo group they are the same company. I can provide documentation about all of this.

      The rate increases the customer has experienced are a result of *** deregulation, and the substantially increased rates our underlying providers are now charging for the services. Unfortunately the services will continue to be subject to third party increases, and therefore the customer is free to cancel the impacted ******************** at any time with no early termination charges.

      Terrible customer service and response to my request to cancel. Rates doubled without notification and after requesting to cancel my service it has taken 2 months and its still active and I continue to be billed over $180 a month for a land line that is dead. My business line has been in use for over 15 years. I will seek business with a company that values and cares about its customers and employs enough customer service agents to address issues.

      I have received multiple calls from this company. I have tried to block them, but they use a different number each time.I phoned them today, and after waiting over an hour to speak with someone, I was told that they were a telecommunications company like Bell, ************** ******, etc.I do not receive calls or texts from the other companies.I asked to have my telephone number deleted from their data bases and was told to contact the ***** which I will do.The agent kept telling me to contact the **** and when I said I didn't care, she hung up on me.

      USE ANY OTHER CARRIER. I was a fully paying customer for a decade with **********************/********************, with one # (never rang anywhere) that received phone messages and another # that received faxes, both of which I could access online to playback/read. Then **** a) bought Allstream; b) made it so I could not gain access to my phone messages and faxes through their website; c) disconnected my two phone numbers when I refused to pay for the time I couldn't access phone messgaes and faxes; and d) refused to port my two decade old #s to a new carrier.

      I TOO have been an all-stream/integra customer for over 5 years. I went with **********************/Allstream in 2016 because they were the only option in my building. I was on auto pay since 2016 and my bill didn't change much. I noticed in July that my bill had gone up by 300% in May and June and over 500% in July and August. I was never notified. They didn't mail or email me a notice. This is FRAUD. Every time I tried to call and disconnect I had to wait on the phone for HOURS!!!. I tried emailing them but they said I have to go through the phone service but nobody can call me back I have to call them. For 3 weeks I tried to call them three times and finally was able to disconnect service but it still have to pay out for another 30 days. At this point my bill is about $2000 and I cannot afford it. What recourse do I have since I wasn't notified?

      I have been an all-stream customer for over 5 years. I purchased a business that was already using all stream. May of this year I got a 30-day notice saying my bill will go up 200 to 300% due to the increase in prices and using copper wiring weather than fiber. With that being said my bill went from $400 a month to $1,300 a month. Being small business owner this was not affordable But the area I am in restricts me from using other business plans for phone and mostly internet. All stream is a *****. For non-payment of services they disconnected my services however they continue to charge me 1300/month for two more months even though I didn't have service from them. Every time I tried to call and disconnect I had to wait on the phone for ************************************************************************ again. I tried emailing them but they said I have to go through the phone service but nobody can call me back I have to call them. For 3 weeks I tried to call them three times and finally was able to disconnect service but it still have to pay out for another 30 days. At this point my bill is about $7,000 and I cannot afford that... Do not do business with all stream. Ziply DSL is more convenient and affordable and my internet actually works now better than it did before...

      the subscription had been canceled years ago, eas only 24.00/month. Did not notice the automatic withdrawal from my account ad I do not balance my checkbook. Prices increased to ****** for a service I no longer receive. Saw the withdrawal and had my bank drop payment. Finally reached someone at allstream told them I had canceled over 10 years ago. They wanted proof which of course I did not have. Told them to cancel my service which they are now trying to collect over ****** from me and are threatening collections. They are a predator company. 450/month for internet services that have been canceled?? ****** for home internet services period is predatory.

      This company Allstream is a thief.I have business with integra for over 10yrs but since they got bought out by allstream, they have hiked my priced increased 200percent for my phone and internet citing that due to FFC copper/wire unregulated. I tried to called their customer hotline .************ I have to wait at least 2hrs to talk to a customer representative. Sometimes, when I get infront of the line, they would disconnected and I have to go back to the end of the line and wait again. Are they doing this on purpose? I am trying to get disconnected from their service but it seems endless.Horrible company! don't know why they have A+ rating.Shady company and a thief too.

      FOR SOME REASON I HAVE A CONNECTION TO ALLSTREAM I NEVER ASKED FOR WHO IS FOOTING THE ***** WHY ARE THEY TARGETING ME? MY IP LINKED TO THIS COMPANY AND IM ****** OFF THAT IT MIGHT BE SOME SORT OF U MIND TACTIC TO CONTROL MEDIA AND OVERLAYS ON PEOPLES DEVICES EVERYWHERE!!! BEWARE!!!
