1 starI have been stewing about this for months and need to let it go. Finished our 2nd and final tour with globus and thought it was a terrible trip. First we paid for a small group tour of maximum 24 people but ended up with 27. Then they joined us with another small group so we became a large group of 50 with small group over pricing. No meal selection - you ate what they served or didnt eat at all. No vegetarian choices. If you like braised veal molded into a shape you were in luck because thats what you got for 4+ nights. 1 night it was vegetarian chili as the main course. I cannot believe how disappointing it was to be in ****** and have horrible food. I cannot even get started in the accommodations. 1 starI booked a tour to ************ and ******** with this company for July of this year. The tour had 20 travelers plus the guide. Towards the end of the ************ leg of the trip i was advised that I was the only one going to ********. No one else was going. Not even the guide. They had made the reservations for plane and hotel, but I was going solo. A tour of one. They actually intended to send me to a foreign country by myself to save a few bucks. Shortly after I was told i made a few international calls and was told that my concerns would be investigated. The next day i told the tour guide that i was NOT going to go to a foreign country by myself and what they proposed was not acceptable. I told them that I didnt pay to go on a tour alone. I then gave them 3 alternatives:1) provide the tour guide that was prearranged 2) Pay for the hotel in ************ till the end of the tour and I would fly home from there or 3) Fly me home on the same day everyone else was going home which was three days earlier than planned.After a very unsettling ***** hours they decided to have a guide meet me in ********. The guide was actually a driver, but he was a resident which was helpful. Had they had their way they would have sent a senior citizen to a foreign country by himself just to save a few bucks. The ******** of this company to expect a novice traveler to travel alone was absurd. In my opinion this shows that this company would do anything to save a buck. and not a company that is at all concerned with your health or safety. I would give this company zero stars but unfortunately that is not an option. Stay safe and stay away!Review fromBrian F

1 starI just wanted to point out that Globus owned by Group Voyagers is NOT a very *********************. I booked a 8-day tour on June 16th 2023 for travel May 23, ****-May 31, ****, almost a year in advance. I gave them a $600 deposit on a $4000 trip. Four months later I find out I have a wedding over that time and I asked to have my deposit refunded. Globus declined. Who doesn't refund customers 8-months prior to departure.I have now started an action against them, called AMEX to dispute the charge and will post this message on every site. My Suggestion, STAY AWAY FROM GLOBUS! ALSO,THERE SEEMS TO BE RUMORS ON THE *** TO THE **** THAT THEY COULD BE IN FINANCIAL TROUBLE.Review fromPatricia R

1 starI booked a vacation through Globus to ***** for January ****. With everything that is happening over there ;****** and Palestine being at WAR; I and a friend are trying to cancel our trip and get reimbursed. GLOBUS refused to cancel the trip and/or reimburse us . This is a very Bad practice on their part. People are dying over there just because they are tourists. I feel at this time it is very unsafe to travel ANYWHERE in ***************. If Globus wants to continue having good ratings, it would be to their BENEFIT to reimburse anyone who wants to cancel their trips to the ************************ at the present time. I fear for my life, and apparently GLOBUS doesnt seem to care. I would like to get any money I have given them back.Review fromRaudel L

GLOBUS FAMILY OF OF COMPANIES, INCLUDING MONOGRAMS, AON, AND INDEPENDENT TRAVEL AGENTS PURCHASING VACATION PACKAGES FROM THESE COMPANIES IN YOUR BEHALF! THE COMPANIES NAMED ABOVE MAY BE ENGAGING IN UNFAIR AND DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES TO CAPTURE UNEARNED REVENUE FROM CONSUMERS. TO INCLUDE MISREPRESENTING TRANSACTIONS WHEN AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OVER THE ****** SELLING TRAVEL INSURANCE POLICIES WITHOUT ADEQUATE DISCLOSURES OF POLICY PROVISIONS, EXCLUSIONS, AND LIMITATIONS TOVTHE CONSUMER. NOW I HAVE A CREDIT TRAVEL VOUCHER WITH A COMPANY I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO USE FOR FUTURE TRAVEL, AND HAVE ZERO DESIRE TO DO ANY BUSINESS WITH IN THE FUTURE; ESPECIALLY FOR GOING ON VACATION! BOTTOM LINE, ONCE YOU MAKE PAYMENT TO THESE INSTITUTIONS, YOUR CHANCES OF GETTING A REFUND ARE NIL, RELYING SOLELY ON THE AGENTS DESCRIPTION OF THE TRANSACTION HAS RESULTED IN A LOSS OF OVER $4000.00 IN THEIR ACCOUNTS, DESPITE CANCELING THE VACATION MORE THAN TWO WEEKS OUT. 1 starThey SUPPORT Violence against Women and Children, A coworker of mine was promptly fired due to attendance issues because her husband decided to beat her and their daughter mercilessly one night and she had to flee her home. She got in contact with her supervisor the next morning before her shift who advised her that HR would reach out to help her. Instead of HR reaching out and offering her resources for a safe place or offering her a Leave of absence due to the nature of her situation they decided to email her a final warning AND a termination letter in THE SAME EXACT EMAIL, they all had her personals email and phone number and no one decided to use it and check to even see if she was alive. Instead, they fired her and then tried to fight her by providing unemployment so she could at least have some income to maintain her independence and try to start over. 2 starsWe booked the ****** Spectacular Tour. Our return flight leaves ********* at 7:40 PM, arrives ****** at 9:15 PM, departs 2:35AM for *******. When contacting Alaska Airlines a week prior to leaving re: TSA precheck, we were informed most people fly directly to ******* since the ************** is a small airport with no shops open at that hour. When we contacted Globus speaking to 3 different persons including the Supervisor of ***************** we were told we should have questioned flying into ****** when making initial reservations and if we wanted to fly directly into ******* we would have to pay an additional fee.We told the Supervisor we trusted Globus to provide us with appropriate travel arrangements. She then told us their contract with AA requires flying into ******. (Interestingly when we checked on line it is more costly than going directly to *******.) The Supervisor also told we could take an Uber or Taxi (3min) or walk (15 min.) to a ********* that closed at 10PM. She also would not give a the name of a person above her to voice our complaint. We asked if we were we expected to all call all the other places listed on the Itinerary to be certain they were what was listed, she said Yes. Needless to say we are concerned about our trip. P.S. When we called a few weeks earlier with questions, the agent told us restaurants were open in the airport during the ****** layover.Review fromCarol B

1 starI had booked a trip to Swtizerland and requested first class flights. On March 26th, I received a change to my outbound flight with an connection time of 52 minutes to an international flight. I then submitted to my travel agent the request to change the flight to an earlier one since I am post op from hip surgery. They NEVER responded. I had no confidence in them and decided to cancel the trip with the caveat that I could move the money paid to another tour. They finally responded with, we've booked your flights - which were not approved NOR changed per my request. AND WOULD NOT HONOR moving my money to another tour. What a bunch of thieves! The department who books flights NEVER responded and just did what they dam well pleased. NOW I'm out almost $1,000. Are they that hard up that they have to take advantage of a widow by not honoring what was relayed to me????? I've been trying to get the entire amount or even transfer it to another tour BUT to be honest I'm not sure I trust them at all. NOW I've heard that I should put in an insurance claim but I'm pretty sure the insurance company wont honor the fact that Cosmos didn't do their job and I get penalized for the lack of professionalism by Cosmos!!! 1 starI am not pleased with Globus. Been on several trips, but this will be my last one. The Agent changed my contract for a "single supplement" , which I had paid off and was ready to travel. At the last minute, I was informed that someone called and they asked to be added to my room, and Globus added that person to my room, without my knowledge; therefore making me a "shared" room. The person, at the last minute canceled, and now Globus told me, I owe more more.I never added the person to my room - just based on a conversation from a "stranger" Globus made the change. Now I was forced to pay more more, or they were going to cancel my trip. I am so disappointed in how this entire matter was handled, especially since I requested a single room. Globus never called me to inquiry if I knew the person, if I wanted to changed from a single room to a shared room. They did nothing! But reached out to me at the last minute requesting more money, or my trip would be canceled and I would not receive a refund! Totally disappointed.Review fromSherry G

1 starI am very disappointed with Globus Family of Brands. No-one replies the phone and even after replying the phone, they hung up on me. I tried the "live chat" and they don't answer! This company has the worst customer service! What is wrong with you?! I have $2000 credit with this company due to the honey moon trip cancelation in March 2020 (right at the beginning of pandemic) and I am not sure if I can ever use my credits. VERYYYYY disappointed.
