I am handicapped independent elderly woman parked in same handicapped parking place for 10 yrs with placard. ******* fell off onto car seat while i was wrestling crutches handbag and bags of groceries into my wagon to pull into my condo Tuesday . My car was booted and no live person answers calls at park it right to assist me in paying the fine to get boot off. I dont have cell phone nor can handicapoed people get down on parking lot to scan their little 1 inch bar code of boot lock if I did have cell phone. Park it right just emails neighbor threatening harassing remarks of towing my vehicle causing me to cancel medical appointments. I have melanoma cancer amputation of most of left foot . I am at a loss as how to complete fine process to get my vehicle boot removed by phone. I do believe it is a scam No one can get a live person to talk to after 3 hours. I tried, neighbor tried, HOA cannot contact park it right by phone and even ******************** cannot reach them .Park It Right, LLC

During a random patrol on 7/25/23, the Subaru Forester (CO)186JMQ was observed and documented parked in violation of being Handicap Parking without Placard or Plate and was subsequently booted per the pre-established parking rules of Highlands at ******************** which we are required to enforce on their private property.
It is the responsibility of the owner/resident/guest to know and comply with the pre-established parking rules of Highlands at ********************.
Vehicles are required to display a Handicap placard or plate when parked in Handicap space.
We are a professional parking enforcement company that observes the violation without bias.
Our patrol does not know the personal circumstances of the vehicle owner or why the vehicle is parked in violation.
The only way that our patrol can identify that a vehicle is allowed to park in a Handicap space is by the Handicap placard/ plate being displayed as required.
We take Date/ Time/ GPS-stamped pictures at the time of the observed violation to ensure that a placard is not visible
At the time of the observed violation, a Handicap placard/ plate was not displayed as required.
Everyone is required to follow the same parking rules. There are no exceptions.
All correspondence is conducted through email to keep a written record. **** could have sent an email at any time for an immediate response. No inquiry has ever been received from ****. Her neighbor's inquiry on her behalf was responded to within 10 minutes. The *** board member's inquiry was also responded to in minutes.
The vehicle has been immobilized correctly and in accordance with the parking rules of Highlands at ********************.
After we were provided a picture of the valid placard, the boot was released Free of Charge and removed from the vehicle by our patrol.
To avoid enforcement in the future, please hang the Handicap Placard as required.Review fromTim G

If I could do zero Stars I would this company is a straight scam and I have never seen a tow company in any regard this dishonest and deceitful and as you can see from all the other reviews it must be true I don't enjoy doing bad reviews that is not why I do it but if the shoe fits!!! And if the owner wants to come down and threaten me or throw punches at me that's fine cuz everybody says he's very aggressive and likes to assault people and in his replies to these reviews shows his true character all by itself what a ugly human beingPark It Right, LLC

There is adequate signage located throughout the property indicating that it is monitored.
Everyone is required to follow the same parking rules and process of release and recovery.
******************* believes that the rules of the community do not apply to him or his guests.
Parking two vehicles in a fire lane, obstructing the main thoroughfare, and blocking a neighbor's garage are against the parking rules.
The vehicles were correctly immobilized in accordance with the pre-established parking rules which he agreed to abide by as a resident.
The parking rules and enforcement actions are selected by the property.
Even though *** and ***** were clearly parked in a fire lane, they chose to cut off and steal Park It Right property.
We are not surprised by their attempts to diminish their accountability as violators often concoct stories to justify their actions.
With their admission of removal and theft, charges have been filed.
We are working with the property manager, HOA, and attorney regarding their crime against a contracted vendor.
*** and ***** have been transparently informed of the consequences of their actions and provided with a resolution.
Failure to resolve the matter immediately will result in a civil suit against all parties involved,
We are moving forward with ramifications within the extent of the law.Review fromW. A.

I took this predatory tow company to court after they unlawfully booted and towed my vehicle in 2020. They had my vehicle the entire 7 months of the court battle because I could not afford to pay the impound fees that were in the thousands. I had to fight them without an attorney, while they had an attorney and did not play nice. This was right after covid started, I ended up missing over a month of work due to having covid and then he decided to boot my vehicle, in my carport, no less, for a flat tire, for which I had a full-size spare in the back and 72 hours to change it. They booted me within 1/2 an hour of parking. I beat him in court not once, not twice, but three times, without an attorney. I won, he appealed, I won, he tried to appeal to the supreme court, but he was denied. He blatantly disobeyed the original court orders to return my property back to my carport from which he had stolen it. As a result, I went out to his tow yard with the court order in hand, 2 ************* officers and a tow driver to retrieve my property and his help refused to release my vehicle saying she did not have permission despite the court order in my hand. The 2 officers were only there to keep the peace because they could not enforce the court order - it was civil, not criminal. Go figure. He destroyed my vehicle while he had it, which, I really had no way to prove and quite honestly, I was just grateful for it to be over. The owner of the company is a terrible rotten individual and I truly hope he one day realizes what a monster he is and changes his heart before it's too late. I honestly feel sorry for people like him. It must be a miserable life taking advantage of people in already tight financial situations. I am honestly shocked he is still in business. I mean honestly, how does this continue to happen to innocent people, most who do not have the means to stand up against such an aggressive predatory business.Park It Right, LLC

It is unfortunate that *********************** is still attempting to harm our company with false statements. Unfortunately the story is much more than what she is providing to the BBB. As attested to by PUC our company did not do anything wrong and in fact PUC couldn't understand why the judge ruled prior to PUC's findings. Even though a motion was made to wait for PUC's findings. The judge did not wait.
As attested to by the mechanic shop the damage was caused by an accident and needed a lot of repair to make it driveable. *********************** made a lot of money via social media claiming her issue and had the repairs paid by another party as well. It would seem that the complaints are driven by the fact she using it to get donations to help fund her life. *************************** story has been proven to be false.
TRUTH WINS - Lies Lose
A Lie Can Travel Halfway Around the World Before the Truth Puts On its Shoes
Dear Customers and Potential Customers,
In response to a news story that ran several months ago we are putting out this statement.
When I started my business it was with the intent to do things differently. Unfortunately, we still get painted with a broad brush of an ugly industry.
It was that broad brush that led to a breathless news story about how we illegally towed an innocent persons vehicle causing them all types of harm.
I knew we would face untold attacks so we built our systems to ensure we could protect ourselves against people lying about their situation that led to a boot or tow.
In spite of overwhelming facts on our side a biased judge (no one likes the parking people) rules against those facts leading to a faulty judgement we are winning on appeal.
The basis was whether we knew the difference between a flat tire and an inoperable vehicle. The judge said it was a flat tire, we said it was inoperable due to an accident.
Before the last news story Reds Towing picked up the vehicle from our impound yard and took it directly to an auto repair shop. The reporter *********************** was present when the repair shop pointed out the damage from an auto accident.
*********************** went ahead with her breathless reporting of how bad a company we were even though she was fully aware of us being right-the vehicle was inoperable needing over $1,000 in repairs (steering knuckle, lower control arm, and alignment.
Point is the News Story was a LIE and the *************************** just confirmed it. We are a professional company providing a difficult service to benefit the majority of people on the property.
Unfortunately, news reporters like to hype the wrong narrative as the violators abuse the majority of residents on the property with their actions otherwise why would a company like ours be necessary?

May 12, 2021, 4:25 PMHello ****:
I am writing to advise you that my investigation into the booting/tow of Dene ********* vehicle has been concluded and no violations of PUC rules were found.
While a court decision apparently found that you should have treated the circumstances found at the scene as simply a flat tire, that came after the fact. Your company had a comprehensive booting/towing agreement in place with the ******************* and the provisions to be enforced were well enumerated. Your company decided to handle the matter as an inoperable vehicle based largely on the semi-detached condition of the right front tire from the rim. The PUC's only concerns in that regard were whether that assessment would seem reasonable and whether the actions you took were consistent with your agreement with the property. I found that your position seemed reasonable, and since the specified remedy for an inoperable vehicle was to take immediate action, you followed the terms of the agreement.
Thank you for your cooperation.

This is in response to the companies response to my review:*******************, honestly, please explain why you have such terrible ratings and a multitude of similar cases. And while, yes, one guy at the *** agreed with you, 2 courts ruled in my favor, and the Supreme Court refused to consider your 2nd appeal. By the way, the courts considered both sides, while the *** disregarded me. Perhaps you're putting honey in some pots for folks. I can only speculate. And regarding the issues with my jeep, can we confirm those damages were there prior to your possession of my vehicle? No, we can not. As I stated, my jeep was damaged after being dragged from my carport and being on your property for 7 months. Your comments regarding my personal hardships and need for help in tough times is simply evidence of your way of bullying and trying to silence people. Yes, I had help after being sick. Does that make me a criminal? Nope. By the way, I work for a doctor and teach yoga. I'm not living on handouts. I'm working to make the world a better place. The truth is the truth.Review fromGreg W

1 starOn 6/1/23 a car in my complex (that has no ties to me or my household) was booted. Someone; who was not me or anyone associated with me; cut the boot later that same day. My husband and I then woke up on 6/2/23 to a sticker attached to the glass of my front door calling us thieves for cutting and taking the boot. There is obviously no proof that we had anything to do with this and it is dishonest and harassing behavior. It was difficult to remove the sticker. It is defamation that this sticker was placed for all our neighbors to see without a shred of proof. Absolution horrid and unprofessional behavior.Review fromAl S

Unscrupulous means to be dishonest and the only one who has been dishonest with themselves and their guests is ******. As a resident, she agreed to abide by the pre-established parking rules of the property. Instead, ****** doesn't want to be accountable for the violation she incurred on her guest as she failed to provide a parking permit as required. She has been previously booted for the same violation and still chooses to defame our company because she doesn't want to be accountable for her actions.Review fromMichael B

It is the responsibility of the owner/resident/guest to know and comply with the pre-established parking rules of the property. Park It Right is contracted to enforce the parking rules as establish by the property. Adequate and required signage is located through the property. Vehicles are required to clearly display a Resident Parking Permit. ******* failed to do so and his vehicle was correctly booted in accordance with the parking rules. We will not discuss other vehicles violations with anyone but the vehicle owners. Please ensure you are following all parking rules of the property to avoid further enforcement.Review fromSamantha K
